My aim is to create a swing with as few moving parts as possible, making the swing more repeatable a http://www.youtube.com/user/dfw1500#p/u

It was an absolute pleasure to be asked to present to a group of Professionals over in Ireland. Thanks to for organising and hosting me.

We covered the player development journey and followed this with a live session with courtesy of . I was able to demonstrate my principles in a live session following on from the presentation in the morning.

All of the attendees were so welcoming it was a true honour and privilege to be asked over for the day. I really look forward to coming over again.

Going through my coaching structure and the stages within a lesson all designed to get a player better.

Slide 1:- is how I form the basis of what I will begin to work on with a student. Looking at stats, biomechanics, ball flight data and the human in front of me to figure out the best and fastest way for them to get better.

Slide 2:- the stages of a lesson and each individual change within a lesson. If the change is or isn’t having the desired effect then I as the coach must adjust.

Slide 3:- these are the various aspects that allow me to look at which specific area within the players game that will give me the biggest bang for my buck.

Slide 4:- this is my swing map and all changes must influence impact and work with the individuality of the player infront of me.

Slide 5:- these are my building blocks for a player with the stages and layers of change I will impart. This is in each lesson and based on a long term plan.

Slide 6:- this is the evaluation and feedback part of the session and often overlooked. It’s vital the player goes away with a clear plan of what and how to work on the changes.

These processes have been developed over time and refined with the help of CMAS and it’s now become succinct and an integral part of my coaching.

Swing of looking good he’s got so much room coming down this is allowing him to deliver the club with speed and create a ball flight with very little curvature, the backswing is creating a lot of time for him as the arms sitting slightly high is ideal for his physical characteristics

08/11/2022

Some good shortgame work with Aaron getting the arms and pivot to match one another, using the pivot as the engine. The reference at the end of the follow through was the club at 90 degrees to the torso ensuring the speeds matched

07/10/2022

Swing of coming along nicely we’ve altered how he moves in transition to shallow the club better whilst taking a way strain from the right shoulder and right side of the neck. The right foot is banking correctly to support the move and allow the right side to have length at impact

17/09/2022

Swing work with working with the smart ball to ensure the right elbow is lower at the top of the backswing this has the arms and body working together better and gives a lot more room coming into impact

08/06/2022

Good work today from getting the arms matching the pivot going back is huge for him this allows him to rotate faster on the way down and use the left side to clear and feel the handle work more left through impact

07/06/2022

Some short sided green side work with the key for Tom is making sure the arms and body match so the pivot is in charge this has the face opening and then allowing the right hand to release with the pivot which gives a high short shot

30/05/2022

Rehearsal swing to feel the right side working through the ball as one to get a more stable clubface and reduce curvature whilst getting more compression

28/05/2022

Swing of looking good tight fades with a ton of compression. Higher arms at the top of the backswing matches his build perfectly then the right foot coming down is quiet giving a ton of room to deliver the club

21/05/2022

Nasty short game shot off a downslopes short sided and green running away this was filthy

19/05/2022

Swing of Tom looking good. He’s got a ton of speed and has to keep the arms more infront throughout the downswing. The keys for him are depth going back and then get the sternum forwards in transition
