Progress isn’t just about lifting heavier weights.

For many people it means:
• less pain
• better mobility
• more energy
• feeling stronger in everyday life

In this video Josh shares what has changed since we started training together.

Small improvements each week create big results over time.

Everyone starts for a different reason.

Sometimes it’s pain.
Sometimes it’s lack of strength.
Sometimes it’s simply the feeling that your body could work better.

In this video [Name] explains what pushed them to begin training.

The hardest part is always starting.

Starting is often the hardest step.

Most people don’t begin training because everything is perfect.
They start because something needs to change.

In this video Josh shares what made him start training with me.

Different reasons, same decision:
taking the first step.

Most people don’t notice the decline at first.

A little less mobility.
A little more stiffness in the morning.
Recovery is taking slightly longer.

So they try random workouts, stretch occasionally, or simply train harder.

But the problem is rarely effort.

It’s the absence of a clear structure.

Strength, mobility and resilience improve when they are developed systematically, with the right progression and feedback.

That’s the role of coaching.

If you live near Knutsford and want to rebuild strength, move better and keep your body performing well for the long term, send me a message or comment MOVE.

Josh took 10 minutes off his half marathon time on Sunday.

Sub 1:45 — something he didn’t think was achievable.

But this didn’t happen in a few weeks.

For the past 8 months, he’s been training consistently with a structured plan that combined:

🏃‍♂️ Running sessions
🏋️‍♂️ Strength work in the gym

Not random workouts.
Not just “going for a run and hoping for the best”.

The gym sessions weren’t about lifting heavy for the sake of it. They were about:

– Building strength that lasts in the second half
– Improving posture and running efficiency
– Staying resilient and reducing little niggles
– Learning how to control pace under fatigue

On race day, that work showed.

He held steady in the first half.
Felt strong.
And had enough left to really push when it mattered.

That’s what consistency and structure can do.

Really proud of the work you’ve put in over these 8 months Josh 👏

If you’re curious about how to combine gym work and running properly, drop me a message.

“Don’t think about it, just do it!”

That was Andrew’s answer to the last question of our chat.

And interestingly,
his reply wasn’t about motivation or discipline.

It was about:
• feeling supported
• trusting the process
• knowing there’s a clear structure
• finally training without second-guessing every session

The biggest change wasn’t physical.
It was confidence.

Confidence that the work makes sense.
Confidence that progress is sustainable.
Confidence that the body isn’t being pushed blindly.

Good coaching doesn’t just change how you train.
It changes how you think about training.

“We didn’t train harder.
We trained differently.”

In Part 2 of this conversation,
Andrew explains what changed once we fixed the foundations.

The goal was never to push limits for the sake of it.
The goal was to build strength the body can keep.

When movement improves,
strength stops feeling forced.
Progress becomes repeatable.

Most people don’t need more intensity. They need better structure.

“Most people don’t fail because they lack motivation.
They fail because their body is fighting against them.”

In this first part of a 3-part conversation,
we talk about where Andrew started:

• pain
• frustration
• feeling stuck despite training
• doing “everything right” but getting nowhere

No magic exercises.
No shortcuts.

Just learning how to move, load, and train in a way the body actually accepts.

▪️ WHAT I CAN DO FOR YOU ▪️

🎯 Training that helps you feel capable, confident and in control of your body.

This is for people who want to feel better in their body and keep progressing, without burning out or constantly starting over.

You might relate if:
• training feels inconsistent or unfocused
• small aches or stiffness are limiting confidence
• you want to train seriously, but in a sustainable way

Working together means:
✅ a clear plan that fits real life
✅ consistent structure and guidance
✅ adjustments as your body changes
✅ training that supports you, not drains you

The goal is simple: help you move better, build strength where it matters, and feel confident in how you train long term.

📩 If this resonates, message me and tell me what you’d like to improve first.

▪️ WHAT I DO ▪️

🧠 Coaching built around how your body actually works.

I coach people to train in a way that supports their body over time: physically and mentally.

The focus is on:
• moving well
• building usable strength
• staying resilient as training becomes part of life, not a phase

How we work?

🔸 1:1 Personal Training
Structured, private coaching. Sessions are built around your body, training history and goals, with attention to movement quality, strength and control.

🔸 Simple lifestyle & nutrition guidance
Clear, realistic advice to support training and recovery, without rigid rules or extremes.

🔸 Movement-first approach
Training informed by ground-up mechanics and a barefoot-style philosophy, used to improve balance, joint health and overall efficiency, always adapted to the training environment.

Everything is individual. No generic templates. No copy-and-paste plans.

Why this works?
You sell method, not room rental.
