For any members interested in entering the 2023 Cheshire Closed Champs (men and women, squash and racketball) please sign up below to receive information about the event in early September when we send the details out.
Event likely to be second and third weekends of October at Bowdon, so nice and close to Knutty! Usual comps will be taking place including A and B draws (+ plates for first round losers) and agegroup events 35 thru 65.
Looking forward to seeing some Knutsford representation 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼

KSC firsts pulled off probably the best win of the season last night by beating a strong Prestbury first team (19-8) at Mereheath Lane.
James Woods pulled off a remarkable 3-2 at #1 against the extremely fit Hayden Tetley - some of the best squash ever seen at the club.
A capacity crowd were packed into the balcony and there a lot of wide eyes, ooohhs and arrrs as both players retrieved (seemingly!) winning shots again and again. 11-9 in the fifth for Mr Woods and the crowd went wild - lovely stuff!!!
Not to be outdone, James’s twin Tom also pulled off a cracking win against the always excellent Gary Walker at #2 - probably his best match of the season as well.
Tony B took zero prisoners at #5 got a 3-0 win at against a higher ranked player - PowerSmash 2.0 is paying dividends!
Simon Langley played his squash twin Chris Dunks at 4 and managed a 3-1 win - some lung busters from the runners.
Paul Norman was unlucky to lose 3-2 at #3 after an extremely long match with a world record number of lets and strokes.
A 19-8 win in the end for K1 against a very strong Prestbury side - performance of the season from the boys and a cracking Sharman curry for afters.
Not only have Squash Levels rankings increased for all 5 first teamers, their bloke ratings have also soared ⬆️⬆️⬆️

A brilliant Christmas night out for KSC at the Eastern Revive in Knutsford last night.
Earlier in the night we had some exhibition doubles at the club from our first team players, our new spin bike was unveiled and prizes were awarded.
A top night with great people.

A great win tonight for Knutsford firsts against Monton 💪🏼

Congratulations to Knutty players Dave Kelly and Simon Langley on winning titles at the Cheshire Closed Champs today at Alderley Edge.
Dave won the O55 title, beating Robbie Blair of Barton 3-2 (10-12, 11-3, 11-4, 8-11, 11-2).
Simon won the A plate, beating Will Hansen of Brooklands 3-1 (11-2, 11-4, 7-11, 11-5).

NWCSL 2022/2023 starts tonight - we have 6 teams this season, playing in various divisions.
The newly promoted first team are now in division 2 East and (luckily!!) welcome back our young guns: James Woods Tom Woods and George Keeble - they’ve recently finished their university studies and are raring to go.
Should be a cracking season.
