Bring your dad to train for FREE this Father’s Day week.

To celebrate Father’s Day, we’re opening the doors for members to bring their dad (or father figure) to train completely free all week long.

Whether it’s your dad, grandfather, stepdad or someone who’s played a father figure role in your life, we’d love to welcome them into the gym and celebrate together.

How it works:

✔️Bring your dad/father figure to any workout during staffed hours this week
✔️Check in with a team member on arrival to register your guest
✔️Snap a photo together using the in-gym camera
✔️Add it to our Father’s Day board with a message or note of appreciation

Let’s fill the gym with stories, gratitude and appreciation for the men who support, inspire and shape us every day.

If only had 30 minutes to train, this is exactly what we’d do…

A simple yet highly effective full-body circuit designed to build strength, improve conditioning and maximise your training time.

The workout:

✔️Rowing machine - 60 seconds at maximum effort
✔️Bench press 8 to 15 reps - 60 seconds
✔️Hack squat 8 to 15 reps - 60 seconds
✔️Pull-ups 8 to 15 reps - 60 seconds
⏱️ Rest - 60 seconds

Repeat the circuit for 6 total rounds.

The structure:

✔️Approx 4 minutes of hard work per round
✔️1 minute recovery between rounds
✔️5 minute rounds
✔️6 rounds = 30 minutes in total

Why it works:

✔️Trains the entire body
✔️Builds strength and cardiovascular fitness simultaneously
✔️Burns a high number of calories
✔️Time efficient and effective
✔️Easily scalable for all fitness levels

The goal is to maintain a consistent level of effort across all 6 rounds while prioritising good technique and controlled movement.

Push yourself, stay focused and make every minute count.

Most people spend too long in the gym. Not because they’re training too hard, because they’re not training efficiently.

We see it every day:

❌ Walking into the gym with no plan
❌ Spending too much time scrolling
❌ Chatting between sets
❌ Doing random exercises from social media
❌ Training for 2 hours but only getting 45 minutes of real work done

More time in the gym doesn’t automatically mean better results .

People who train effectively arrive knowing exactly what they’re going to do. Track their sets. Manage their rest periods. Focus on quality over quantity. And when the workout is finished, they leave.

Most people get the best results from 45-90 minutes in the gym. Sessions longer than 2 hours typically offer little extra benefit unless you’re training for a specific athletic goal.

Train smart guys! 🖤

NEW TOY ALERT!

Say hello to The Box 👋

Simple? Yes. Effective? Absolutely.

The Box opens up a huge range of exercises to help build strength, power, balance and endurance. One of our favourites is the step-up, beautifully demonstrated here by Jason.

Why step-ups?

✔️Builds leg strength
✔️Improves balance and stability
✔️Develops single-leg power
✔️ Boosts functional fitness for everyday life and sport
✔️ Low impact but highly effective

It can also be used for box squats, elevated push-ups, Bulgarian split squats, box jumps, seated exercises and much more.

Don’t be fooled by its simple appearance… this little piece of kit can deliver a serious workout.

Next time you’re in the gym, give it a try.
