Autumn is here, but the playing conditions are as good as ever. 🌲

Because Ladybank is built on sandy heathland, the course stays firm, dry, and playable long after rain starts to affect other venues across the region. The mature Scots pines also offer plenty of shelter if the autumn breeze picks up.

Managing a classic heathland course is all about working with the natural environment. 🌲

Our greenkeeping team focuses on a low input approach to preserve the heather, Scots pine, and fine turf that make Ladybank so distinct. Working with the light, sandy soil allows the course to stay firm and free draining throughout the year, offering fantastic playing surfaces in every season.

It is a sustainable, traditional way of looking after the course that keeps it playing the way it was designed to.

We are proud to partner with our friends at Lundin Golf Club and Crail Golfing Society to offer the Links with History pass. 🏌️‍♂️

It brings together three historic Fife clubs, all just a short drive from St Andrews. You get to experience two classic seaside links alongside our classic heathland course, with designs shaped by Old Tom Morris, James Braid, and Gil Hanse.

👉 3 Round Pass (£320pp): Includes Ladybank, Lundin, and Crail (Craighead Links). Upgrade to Crail Balcomie Links for a £20 supplement.

👉 4 Round Pass (£440pp): Play all four courses across Ladybank, Lundin, and both Crail links.

It includes a dedicated concierge service to arrange your itinerary, making it easy to play them all on one trip or spread out across the season at your own pace. These packages run up until the 31st October 2026.

We have a full field heading out across the heathland this morning, with the course in absolutely tremendous condition. Hats off to our greenkeeping team as always! 🙌

Good luck to everyone playing in the Junior Open today! ⛳

This is always one of the best days of the year at Ladybank. Our junior section has grown massively over the last couple of seasons, so it is great to see such a strong field of young golfers out on the course today alongside players visiting from across Scotland.

Today's competition is also an official qualifier for the Ping Junior Masters, with players competing for a spot in the grand final at Close House on the Lee Westwood C**t Course.
