🐴🏆 INTRODUCING OUR NEW JUNIOR WINTER DRESSAGE LEAGUE! 🏆🐴

With a growing number of Junior entries, we're delighted to announce that, from our next Winter Dressage Qualifier on Sunday 1st November, we'll be introducing dedicated Junior Sections at Intro and Prelim, complete with their very own Winter League and Championship titles!

We want to encourage our younger riders, giving them the opportunity to compete against others of a similar age and experience, build confidence and enjoy their dressage.

🌟 WHO CAN ENTER?

🐴 Riders aged 13 years and under on 1st October 2026.

🐴 Riders must not have previously competed in affiliated British Dressage competitions, including Team Quest or My Quest, regardless of the horse or pony ridden.

🏵️ JUNIOR SECTIONS

Separate Junior sections at Intro and Prelim, with rosettes awarded to 6th place.

🏆 JUNIOR WINTER LEAGUE & CHAMPIONSHIPS

Our Junior competitors will have their own League standings, with points awarded according to Junior section placings.

At both Intro and Prelim, there will be:

🏆 Junior League Champion & Reserve

🏆 Junior Finals Champion & Reserve

🏆 Junior Supreme Champion & Reserve

The existing Championship qualification requirements will apply, including three qualifying competition days and the required scores of 63% or above.

💚 AND NOBODY MISSES OUT!

We'll be awarding Junior League Points retrospectively for our competition on 18th October, based on the placings of Junior competitors if they had competed within their own sections.

So, if you competed on 18th October and meet the Junior eligibility criteria, your result will count towards the new Junior League!

We hope this gives our younger competitors something exciting to work towards throughout the winter.

Here's to our future dressage stars! 💚🐴

ANY JUNIORS THAT HAVE ALREADY ENTERED FOR 1ST NOVEMBER WILL AUTOMATICALLY BE TRANSFERRED TO THE JUNIOR SECTION.

Wow… what a fabulous day of dressage Sunday was!

Once again, our A-Team of staff, volunteers and judges ensured everything ran smoothly and to time. A huge thank you to everyone involved, and especially to all our competitors who make the hard work so worthwhile and rewarding.

It was wonderful to welcome so many new faces to Celaeron and to see our regular competitors back supporting the Winter League.

A little update on the Winter League points system…

We've made a small adjustment to ensure the fairest possible competition for everyone. League points will now be awarded for each competitor's highest placing at each level on any one competition day.

This means that those entering tests at two different levels won't be disadvantaged compared with competitors riding two tests at the same level.

Importantly, all scores of 63% or above will still count towards qualification for our Championship Show in April, and the requirement to compete on three separate qualifying days remains unchanged.

We're already counting down to our next Winter Dressage Qualifier on Sunday, 1st November! Entries are filling quickly, so don't leave it too late if you're planning to join us.

Unfortunately, Horse Monkey is currently unavailable due to the ongoing Google outage. We'll let you know as soon as entries are accessible again.

In the meantime, here are the Winter League standings following our first qualifier! 🐴

🐴 START TIMES FOR SUNDAY’S DRESSAGE ARE NOW PUBLISHED!

Class 1 (Intro 1) starts at 9:00am.

We’ve done our very best to minimise waiting times between classes, although this month’s fantastic entry numbers have made that a little more challenging. Thank you for your understanding!

☕ Hot and cold drinks, sandwiches and snacks will be available throughout the day to keep you fuelled — and the forecast is looking sunny, with just a gentle breeze! ☀️

🏆 Sunday marks the start of our Winter Dressage League!

League points are awarded for placings, with standings published within 24 hours of the event.

To qualify for the Winter Finals in April, the same horse-and-rider combination needs to:
• Compete at three qualifying competitions at the same level.
• Achieve two scores of 63% or above at that level.

Two tests on the same day count as one qualifying competition, but both scores can count towards your qualification.

Good luck, everyone — we look forward to seeing you on Sunday! 💚

What a wonderful day of show jumping at Celaeron for our first Winter League and Finals Qualifier! 🐴💚

The weather was glorious, entries were plentiful, and it was lovely to welcome so many familiar faces alongside competitors joining us for the first time.

As ever, our volunteers were absolutely brilliant. We simply couldn't run these events without their generosity, enthusiasm and hard work. Thank you all!

From the judge's table, Emma and Bridget thoroughly enjoyed watching some fantastic riding, lovely partnerships and genuinely outstanding moments. Not all of these are necessarily reflected in the final results, but there were plenty of performances to be very proud of.

Today was also the first time we divided our 50cm and above classes into separate Horse and Pony sections. We think this worked really well and helped create the level playing field we're committed to providing at Celaeron.

🏆 RESULTS & WINTER LEAGUE STANDINGS

All today's results are available on HorseMonkey:
https://horsemonkey.com/uk/results/90015

Our current Winter League standings, by height, are posted below. And remember, there are still FIVE more qualifying shows in which to accumulate points!

League Champions and Reserves at each height automatically qualify for Finals Day on Sunday, 11th April. Alternatively, combinations can qualify by competing at three League shows and achieving two clear first phases at the same height.

We'll email every competitor who qualifies, so nobody needs to worry about keeping track!

🐎 WANT TO HAVE A GO AT TODAY'S COURSE?

The course will remain in our indoor arena until 4.30pm on Tuesday.

Arena hire can be booked as normal (see our pinned post), and there's no need to add the show jumps or course set-up options to your booking.

📅 COMING UP AT CELAERON

Our next show jumping competition is Sunday, 15th November.

In the meantime, we're switching back into dressage mode!

Our Winter Dressage League kicks off next Sunday, 18th October, with Sally Frost judging. Sally will also be returning to Celaeron for a dressage clinic on Saturday, 24th October.

Thank you again to everyone who competed, volunteered, supported and helped make today such an enjoyable occasion. We look forward to seeing you all again soon! 💚
