2025 Permit Prices
£44/day with a 4 fish limit.
£33/day with a 2 fish limit.
Fly or Lure catch and release permit £22/day. (single barbless hooks ONLY)
Kids (under 15) are half price if accompanied by a full adult permit.
We have a free to fish coarse pond which has Perch Roach and Tench in it, ideal for beginners learning to fish.
We do not hire rods.
Pike fishing is Winter only.

On November 2nd, John and his niece Sophie caught a 23 lb and an 11.3 lb pike on the big pond. Congratulations to both of you!

Newmill Pike Fishing Season
Season Dates: October 1, 2024 – March 1, 2025

We’re excited to announce that there’s no need to book in advance this year!

Please note: Night fishing for Pike is not available.

Fishing Guidelines:

Rod Limit: Each angler may use up to two rods, either for dead baiting or lure fishing. Cost: £20.00 per day.
Essential Equipment: Please bring adequate unhooking gear, including a 40" net, unhooking mat, and forceps.
Fishing Gear: Strong line and good bite indication are necessary for a successful outing.
Catch and Release: All Pike must be returned unharmed to the pond.
Fishing Hours: Fishing is permitted from one hour before dawn to one hour after dusk.

A nice tiger trout caught on the fly pond yesterday.
And big Pike are starting to show, a 25lbs Pike was caught on Friday in the big pond. This same fish was caught this time last year and it has put on 5lbs!!

Newmill' Pike Fishing Season commences 1st October 2022. There is availability for 4 anglers each day from 1/10/22- 1/3/ 23 . You must pre book to reserve a place call 01555870730 during shop hours 9am-4pm daily. This year we will require full payment on booking, this will be refundable up to 3 days in advance.
