It’s time to get dressed up and celebrate another amazing year of Lanark & District Young Farmers! 🎉

📍 Venue: Strathaven Hotel
📅 Date: Saturday 5th December
⏰ Arrival: 6:30pm for a 7pm start
👗 Dress Code: Suits, kilts & dresses

Get your vehicles ready to light up the night! 🎅🏼🎄 Our annual charity tractor run is back, and we can’t wait to see the tractors covered in fairy lights and festive decorations! 🚜💡

Join us on Saturday 14th November for a lovely morning of tea, coffee, cakes, sandwiches and a raffle with prizes to be won! 🧁🥪🎟️

This coffee morning is being held in support of Ochre – The Oesophageal Cancer Charity, in loving memory of Jimmy Warnock, a past member of Lanark Young Farmers. 💙

We would love to see as many familiar faces as possible come along, enjoy a cuppa and a catch-up, and help us raise money for such a special cause.

💙🏊‍♀️ 83 MILE CHALLENGE! 🏊‍♀️💙

WE ARE SO CLOSE! 😭💪

Eve has been swimming her way through the 83 Mile Challenge for Ochre – The Oesophageal Cancer Charity, and there is now ONLY 5 MILES LEFT TO GO! 🤯🔥

We have even discovered that once Eve has completed her 83 mile challenge, it will be the equivalent of swimming the English Channel 4 times! 😳

After all those lengths, tired arms and countless hours in the pool, the finish line is finally in sight! She has been in the pool that much her watch even gave in🙈🏊‍♀️💙

Every single mile has been for such a special cause, in memory of Jimmy Warnock, and we couldn’t be prouder of the effort put into this challenge!💙

🎬🐑 BALE ART 2026! 🐑🎬

Lanark Young Farmers have been getting creative with this year’s entry for the National Bale Art Competition… and this year’s theme is FILM & TV! 🎥🍿

So naturally, we decided to turn a field in Lanark into our very own movie set — starring none other than Shaun the Sheep and his gang! 🐑😂

A MASSIVE thank you to everyone who helped bring this idea to life. It took a LOT of bales, paint, patience, and teamwork! 😂👏🏼

A special thank you to the McColm family for allowing us to keep our bale masterpiece in their field, and to the Comrie family for kindly allowing us to paint their bales! 🐑❤️
