Our U16 Girls team are looking to add new players into their squad for the season ahead.
Moving to 11aside football means we have the fantastic opportunity for a few new girls to join the club and be part of a great group of players.

Great wee session tonight with the U16 girls.

Lots of running we started with constant dribbling up and down the pitch then fun game in pairs 1 dribbling round the cones there team mate chasing, we did short and long pass practice and done some work with the girls in there usual match positions and playing out from the back and quickly passing through the field to finish, did some shooting and the attacker v defenders drill which we do regular but the girls enjoy this where all the players need a touch before they can shoot so lots of good passing and positioning.

Finished off with 20 min match. Good work girls well done 👍🏻

A great wee game this morning. It was wet and miserable but the girls didn't give up the whole 60 minutes. Everyone showed up and played their part.

It was hard to choose our Her Game Too Awards FC Player of The Match because they genuinely all played great today, one of Maddie's best games, Rosie's saves but Millie just pipped it today with her 💯 effort the whole game and just the right amount of aggression.

An early start for us yesterday morning over at Rutherglen. But it was worth it.
Even though we didnt get the result we wanted, it was the best squad performance of the season,
Congratulations to cambuslang on the win.

We started sharp and kept the momentum going all game, some of the football we played was very pleasing and what we have been working on in training. Everyone was brave on the ball but we just couldnt convert any of our chances.
We kept a very good cambuslang side to a handful of chances unfortunately they were very clinical and punished us on some little mistakes made but that's football.

We are extremely proud of the boys today, we asked them to step up and be positive and play the football we know they can play and we got it. As always we still have things to work on, we can see things taking shape with this squad and we believe we are only going to get better.
