🥇🥇 Amazing work from Barney today at the Empire Merseyside Open 👏👏

Barney took home an impressive double gold with 5 fights in total, securing 3 submissions and two 16-0 points victories with not a single point conceded the entire day. Truly great stuff and we couldn't be prouder 👏

Andy had his first outing as a bluebelt to feel out this new division and was able to execute parts of his game including his signature back defense but couldn't get the win this time. Congratulations on the XP gained though 🙌

Day out in Blackpool at

Tom and Sarah kicked things off with a Silver and Gold respectively, Tom winning his opening match with an unprecedented 20-0 victory, Sarah winning her much closer match on advantages.

Astor won Silver in the gi and Bronze in the nogi, hitting a picture perfect arm drag into tai otoshi on his path. Chris won Silver in the gi hitting a fantastic triangle on the way, and Bronze in nogi. George also scored a silver in the nogi, while Marco had 2 matches with plenty of data to build from.

Lewis also had great success in his run, scoring a gold in the nogi and silver in the gi, managing a slick arm drag to backtake in to Nogi!

Great work from the team, although a bitter-suite day as Marco and George are off to greener pastures now uni is over for them! Best of luck guys!
