My next ‘Pro’ Strongman Competition…
Get in touch if your business would be interested being involved as a sponsor of me, or indeed the event as a whole (or tag a mate who has a business that may be interested).
The competition will be watched worldwide by thousands (albeit niche).
My personal Instagram page (where I log my training) has reached over 1 million accounts and had over 10,000 profile visits in the last 30 days, and reached over 2.2 million since January 6th.
These insights are purely organic (no paid ads) and I foresee that the numbers are going to keep progressing over time.
For me, the data is proof that the sport is valuable in terms of ‘eyes watching’, and is in a significant phase of growth, but is still way behind other sports in terms of sponsors.
I feel there’s a great opportunity for sponsors, and actually feel like it’s the missing piece of the jigsaw that will blast the sport into the next chapter.

For years I’ve longed to push outside of my comfort zone. During this time (despite lots of failures 😂) my life has got better.

The ‘swing’ is just magnifying your error 👇🏻
Access some jerk blocks and spend an hour playing around with jerks/push presses
Make sure your drop each rep from overhead
Play around with different block start heights:
Too high, you’ll touch the floor on the dip and drive as weights get heavier
Too low, you’ll get mauled on the pick up
Compare ‘blast press’ style - (concentric only) vs ‘racking’ style (where you dip and drive each rep)
If you’re a ‘blast presser’ I suggest learning the other tech to have in your locker for when you need to go to 5rm territory or heavier
Perfect your dip and drive line (no banana drives) - vid from side - THIS IS THE ERROR THAT’S MAKING THE YOKE SWING
This setup will be much safer to fail reps and much less harmful to your ears and less annoying to other people in the gym
