Coming soon to Lancing Manor, in association with Lancing Green Dreams Festival on Sunday 14th June………..Lancing Bowls Club “OPEN DAY”. Everyone welcome to come and “Have-A-Go” at our FREE Taster sessions

The season is in full swing at LBC. As well as league & friendly fixtures we have been playing in county competitions, reaching the third round of the mens 4s - winning at Southwater, then Hove & Kingsway but the team at Southwick proved too strong an opponent. Our ladies are through to the second round the triples at Southwater on Tuesday. The first rounds of our men’s trips and ladies pairs also take place this week. Our free Thursday and Saturday morning taster sessions are proving to be very popular this season and our beginners are coming along nicely. We have recruited 5 new members so far, both experienced bowlers and absolute beginners. If you’re looking for a relaxed friendly club to join or fancy giving bowls a try for the first time then drop in and see us. Coaching and equipment are all provided completely free!

Amazing starts to our league seasons

We started Tuesday with a visit from Marine Gardens Bowling Club in the Brodie league we won the game over all taking home 6 points to 4

Then in the evening we started our Brighton and hove league campaign winning overall against peacehaven 6-4

We have two home matches today one at 2pm and another at 6pm we welcome Marine Gardens Bowling Club for the first Brodie match of the season before we kick off our Brighton and hove league campaign at 6pm

Fancy a go at bowls tomorrow morning? Lancing Bowls Club will be set up to say 'hello and good morning' to all those that would like a FREE taster session at bowls. Maybe its something you had thought about trying but never got around to it, if you have an hour to spare tomorrow morning, then we'll be seeing you 😃
We are open from 10:45am, wear flat shoes like trainers, no need to book, just turn up! We even loan you bowls and show you how 👍
