A fantastic evening on Saturday for our end of season celebration.

An honourable mention to our goalkeeper, Serena Nappi who was a close second for most improved and was awarded a medal for her hard work and determination this season.

Big shout out to our coaches, Tanya and Scarlett, for all the hard work and effort they’ve put in this season.

Up the Villa

Full time in Eastbourne and the hosts come away with a 4-1 win. Villa scored first and showed grit and determination to hold the lead for 65 minutes before tired legs, a few injuries, and some superb strikes from the Eastbourne number 10 sealed the win for the league champions.

Sunday marked Charlotte Smyrk’s final game for the club. Charlotte has been with Villa since the formation of the women’s team and has seen the club go from some friends having a kick around in Stanmer park, to one of the strongest women’s teams in Sussex. Her support and commitment to the club, coaches and players has been unwavering and invaluable and she really has created something special at Villa. She will be missed greatly and we wish her the best of luck in her next adventure.

Goals for both teams in the first half but Villa came out strong in the second with some superb attacking football on display. A hatrick for Chloe Debaes and a brace from Sadie Ashby mean we take all 3 points.

A great confidence boost as we go into the last 2 games of the season.

A big win on the road!

We leave Steyning with all 3 points after a tough game.

POM goes to Serena Nappi for some outstanding saves that kept us in the game, and in the end secured the points. Credit to the Steyning goalkeeper who also made some fantastic saves.

We travel to The Shooting Field to face Steyning town.

An exciting day for the club as have we two of our JPL players stepping up into the first team. Cadence Shearer gets her first start and Mila Janczyk joins the bench.

Back to winning ways 🙌

Another 3 points secured and another move up the table after a dominant display against Hastings. After a disappointing 1-0 loss when we visited the Pilot Field earlier this season, we weren’t going to let that happen again and the result today shows that our hard work is paying off.

Chloe Debaes continues her excellent run of form scoring a brace, with the third goal coming from Lou Tindall.
