Alara’s 24 Hour Footballathon

Final Score for the event…. A whopping £5994.11 (and 25 Canadian cents)
414 players, from ages 3 - 78. We had Granparents and Grandkids playing, mums and dads, brother battling brother.
Pros, ex Pros, pro youth, Scottish Junior cup winners, a host of future stars and even the absolutely hopeless all took part.
Big thanks to Sportscotland for donating their facility, without them it just wouldn’t have happened. Thanks to all the organisations/clubs that got involved. Lastly thanks to absolutely everyone who organised a team, rounded up pals, came out of retirement, kicked a ball or put money in the bucket or hit up the Just Giving page. Congratulations to Jack Kelly, who won the raffle and is currently watching Peter Kay in The Hydro (from the fancy seats.)
