A reminder of this weekend's not-to-be-missed FREE course in Kirkintilloch, open to all KUGB members of yellow belt and above.

REMINDER - REGIONAL COURSE - SCOTLAND

On Saturday, September 12th, led by Sensei John Bruce 6th Dan, KUGB Scotland will be hosting a FREE course for all KUGB Members.

Location: Kirkintilloch Leisure Centre Woodhead Park, Glasgow G66 3DD

Training Schedule:
11.00am – 12.30pm: Kata
12:30pm – 2:00pm: Kumite

This course is FREE for all KUGB members.
Open to 7th kyu and above

Congratulations to the five members of Largs Karate Club who successfully graded with Sensei Brennan in Kirkintilloch today. Thank you to Sensei for another fantastic course. Massive thanks to Seigō-sei Shotokan Karate for allowing our members to grade with them and for the warm welcome and hospitality we received.

A fantastic Senior Grades course with Sensei Brennan last night! A very technical session focusing on detail in Kihon and how it translates into Kata. Thoroughly enjoyed by all, our thanks as always to Sensei.

The KUGB's FREE annual Scottish course takes place in Kirkintilloch on Saturday 12th September, with Sensei John Bruce (6th Dan).

This is an excellent opportunity to train with one of the best instructors in the KUGB and is open to Yellow Belts and above. Don't miss out on what will be a fantastic FREE course.

The next competition open to club members is the 12th Kanzen Cup in Dundee on 5th September. There are categories available for all ages and grades and we're hoping to send a strong team up to compete.

A fantastic day for Largs Karate Club to round off the week at the KUGB Summer School in Lancaster.

Massive congratulations to Luke, Murray and Sam who became the club’s newest black belts. Also to Liam who had his Shodan accredited by the KUGB. And last but not least to Kerry who passed Nidan (2nd Dan). Huge achievements all round, doing themselves and our club proud!

This year, Largs Karate Club has a huge group of 14 members in Lancaster to enjoy instruction from the KUGB’s Senior Instructors at the Annual Summer School. Reports of fantastic sessions over the first two days, being thoroughly enjoyed by all, with a great spirit of camaraderie. Those of us left back at the dojo here in Largs aren’t jealous at all 🤣
