Great shots from Colin today at the Quay, Tompot Blenny definitely looks cheeky. Thanks Colin for undoing the rope around the prop of “Smoke” she seams not to have suffered any damage.

Paul received his Perfect Bouyancy certificate along with his Specialty Diver certificate today at the centre, from Jim. Well done Paul.

Baylee received his Drysuit Speciality certification today at the centre. He’s proving to be a natural diver excellent skills shown by him according to his instructor Jim. Also Eleanor completed her Night and Limited Visibility course today thanks to Colin for his teaching. Well done both students .

North Ayrshire Divers joined us at the Quay this evening for the first night dive of 2026. Beautiful conditions calm and not too cold. Well done all who took part in the experience. Eleven divers in total .

The first SSI certification of the new year for us today ! Well done David completing his Advanced course . It was a testing day at the Quay today three ships docking at the pier . Then three divers on the boat to dive Clashfarland point then dives at the pier. Well done Jim who was ably helped by Ross who is getting back into the swing of things. We started at seven thirty this morning and finished just slightly short of six pm tonight. Long day😵

Final dive of the year today for C&C Marine at Fairlie Quay .The viz was good and a great dive was had by Jim and Eleanor . As if by magic new life in the shape of two Baby” Cat “ Sharks came out for the photo shoot!
We estimate that we have completed over five hundred dives this year at the pier ! Hopefully we will enjoy even more next year . The diversity of life is ever increasing. Let’s see what we can find in 2026. A very Happy New Year to all and safe diving in the future .
