Due to popular demand, Largs Pickleball Club will be running through all of June at our Monday 7-9pm and Wednesday 6-9pm sessions.
Cost will be £5, which includes an introductory session with a Pickleball Scotland Ambassador and mixed ability games for the remainder of the time.

Mixing it up in Inverclyde!

​What a fantastic day at the Pickleball Schools Event in Inverclyde, bringing together 24 pupils from Port Glasgow High School, St. Stephen's High School, and St Columba's, Kilmacolm.

​The day wasn't just about the scoreline; it was about building new connections. Pupils from S1-3 were paired in doubles with partners from different schools, encouraging everyone to mingle and enjoy the game in a relaxed, social atmosphere.

​✨ Why we love events like this:

​New Friendships: Seeing pupils happy to engage and play alongside peers from other schools was a major highlight.

​Inclusive Play: The format was competitive enough for those who wanted it, but accessible enough for everyone to have a blast.

​Confidence Building: We noticed that some quieter pupils, who might not always thrive in larger team sports, really shone and found their rhythm on the pickleball court.

​Dynamic Format: From swapping pairs after every game to our high-energy "Champions" finish, the action never stopped.

​A massive thank you to Alan McBeath for advising on the format—it was a huge part of the day's success!
​With such a great turnout and positive feedback, we’re definitely looking at making this a regular meet-up. Quarterly pickleball, anyone?

• Mixed Doubles 3.5–3.99 (60+) – 1 pair

• Men’s Singles Open – 3 men

15+ Events • Mixed up to 3.49 – 1 man + some pairs
• Mixed 3.5–3.99 – 6 women + some pairs

• Mixed Open – 1 pair

• Women’s Doubles 3.5–3.99 – 1 pair

• Women’s Doubles Open (4.0+) – spaces available

• Men’s Doubles 4.0–4.49 – 2 pairs

• Women’s Singles up to 3.49 – 2 women

Youth Event • Singles – 1 player

Most other events are now full with reserve lists in place.

Largs Vikings top pickleball league table at halfway stage in season

Largs Vikings are topping the Pickleball Scotland Leagues at the halfway point. Still all to play for with our remaining 6 games and the chasing pack close behind.
