Over 40s Football team in the Larne area, started in January 2024 as an O35s team to promote mental and physical health.
Currently playing in the TAHMI Invitational League as well as friendlies and charity matches. ⚽️🙂🔵🟡

Both teams threw caution to the wind in a high scoring fast paced game. Welly Rec O40s came off the winning side after at stunning 8-7 victory over Belfast Zim Legends FC. A great game played in a great spirit. We wish you all the luck in the league this season.

A good run out for both teams before the start of the season on September 13th. Welly Rec O40s took full advantage of the busy calendar this month keeping momentum going. A new look United Belfast were a good challenge and we wish them the best of luck this season!

This Sunday see us take part in the 'How's your Mind' Charity Tournament! 1st match kicks off at 1215 and it's an all Larne battle as Welly Rec O40s face off against Olderfleet Swift Legends. Come down to Brookvale Park to support the players and the 4 charities they are playing for.
Four football teams will be taking to the pitch in Larne this weekend to raise funds for worthy causes.
