There’s been a lot happening at Wolfpack lately.

A lot of work, a lot of changes, and plenty of hours spent building, improving and making more space.

It’s satisfying to stand back when something is finished and see what all that work has produced.

But it’s also a reminder that not everything important in life can be built by our own effort.

The Bible tells us that our relationship with God isn’t something we earn or achieve. We don’t make ourselves good enough for Him by working harder or becoming better people.

Instead, God has done the work for us through Jesus.

“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith… it is the gift of God.”
Ephesians 2:8

We’ll keep working hard to make Wolfpack better.

But this Sunday, it’s good to remember that the greatest thing we could ever receive isn’t something we have to work for at all.

It’s a gift.
