We offer one off rides to private lessons, group lessons, hacking, beach rides, gala days, birthday parties and most importantly Common Rides! We take children from 2 years up and there is no upper age limit, look forward to hearing from you if you have any questions.

We have been advised that there will be some overnight maintenance on our website Thursday night into Friday morning this week. There should hopefully be no interruption to bookings but if there is please try again in The morning.

NOW THAT WE ARE HEADING TOWARDS AUTUMN/WINTER, EVENING HACKS HAVE STOPPED AND WILL RESUME IN THE SPRING. WE ARE TRYING OUT SOME NEW LESSONS DUE TO DEMAND AND WILL MONITOR HOW THEY PROGRESS.

HACKING AND TREKKING STILL AVAILABLE AT WEEKENDS OR BY ARRANGEMENT

AFTERNOON BIRTHDAY PARTIES WILL ALSO STOP AFTER THE CLOCKS CHANGE NEXT MONTH AND RESUME IN SPRING.

CHANGES TO SOME LESSON TIMES AND RE-INTRODUCTION OF CHILDRENS JUMPING LESSONS
LESSONS:-Tue 6pm Option level 3/4 one week, Jumping Level 1 alternate weeks (see below for criteria levels)
Wed 2pm University Complete beginner, 3pm Rising trot starting to canter
7pm Option 10 Adult complete beginner.
Fri 2pm *NEW* Tiny Riders Option Level 2/3 one week, Jumping Level 1 alternate weeks (See below criteria for levels)
3pm Option Level 2.
4pm Jumping Lesson level 2 one week, Jumping Level 3 Alternate weeks.
Sat 1pm Option 10 Adult complete beginner one week, Jumping Level 1 alternate weeks
Sat/Sun 2.30pm 1/2hr childrens walks
ALL OTHER LESSONS REMAIN THE SAME.

CRITERIA FOR CHILDENS JUMPING LESSONS AS BELOW
Jumping level 1 = Beginner up to small straight poles.(must be in flat lesson option 3 and above.)
jumping Level 2 = Know basic jump position and ride fences in canter.(must be in flat lesson option 3 and above)
Jumping Level 3 = Starting to jump courses.(must be in flat lesson option 4 and above.)

October holiday Courses, Mondays 12th/19th Full day childrens course must be option level 2/3

Are there any home schooled children who's parents would be interested in daytime lessons for them? If so, let us know and we will see what we can do also any parents in between school runs looking for lessons either individual or groups, again let us know, I'm sure we can accommodate you?

Timings for our Crusaders Chase on Monday 20th July 2026 🔴⚪️

5.45pm - Fording of the Esk at the Roman Bridge
7.30pm - Arrive at Crookston Farm.
7.50 pm – Arrive at Wallyford Miners Club for a presentation from the local Stewart family.
8.30pm - Gallop along the beach.
8.45pm - Charter Reading & Flag raising ceremony - Musselburgh is officially in Festival.
8.50pm - The ride proceeds on to North High Street.
9.10pm - Ford the Esk at the Roman Bridge.

Common riders

Please can I remind all riders that as per booking terms and conditions riders must ride at least 4 times prior to the ride or provide evidence of doing so elsewhere.

Failure to do so will result in your book and deposit being void.

NOW WE ARE INTO COMMON RIDING SEASON, THERE WILL BE SOME CHANGES TO ACTIVITIES FROM THIS MONTH UNTIL END OF AUGUST.

CHILDRENS STABLE CLUB AND JUMPING LESSONS ARE NOW FULLY BOOKED UP, THEY WILL RETUN IN SEPTEMBER

EVENING HACKS WILL NOT BE ON 1ST TWO WEEKS IN JUNE ALONG WITH CERTAIN DATES THROUGH OUT THE SUMMER

SUMMER HOLIDAY CHILDRENS ACTIVITIES
Wed 15th July 1/2 day course (level 2/3) 10am - 1pm £62. 1/2 day jumping course 1.30pm - 4.30pm £62.
Mon 27th July Full day course (level3/4) 10am - 4.30pm £97.

Wed 29th July 1/2 day course (level 2) 10am -1pm £62.

Mon 3rd August Full day course (level 2/3) 10am - 4.30pm £97.

NEW FOR THIS YEAR 3DAY CAMP LEVEL 2 UPWARDS SUN 9TH - TUE 11TH AUGUST £295.

Sun 2pm - 8.30pm, Mon 9am - 7.30pm & Tue 9am - 4.30pm.

Day 1. lesson then evening hack, tea will be provided.

Day 2. 2 lessons Flatwork & Jumping, bring packed lunch tea will be provided. Weather permitting bring swimwear and trainers for fun in the river.

Day 3. lesson plus competition in the afternoon, bring packed lunch. Stable management will be included all days.
