3οΈβ£ from 4οΈβ£ for the four Senior sides!
The First XI won at home to Wadebridge CC by 42 runs. Batting first, we struggled to put together any meaningful partnerships, but Thulina Dilshan made 92, along with Billy Uglowβs 22, helped us up to a total of 193. In reply, the visitors were well placed at 75-1, before the introduction of Adam Hodgson (3-20), Paul Smith (3-23) and Mark Taskis (3-33) reduced Wadebridge to 151 all out.
The Second XI won at neighbours Callington CC 2nds by 67 runs. Batting first and posting a healthy 249-8, George Rickard led the way with 58, and he was ably supported by Toby Ward (42), Jordan Duke (31) and Ben Jenkin (31). Jordan Duke then rounded off a fine all round display, returning figures of 3-35, with skipper Jason Seldon picking up 2-32 and Darren Webber 2-45.
The Third XI lost convincingly away at Liskeard CC by 150 runs. After losing the toss and being asked to field, the hosts made 218-7 from their 45 overs with Freddie Ward taking 3-33 and Tyler May 2-37. In reply, Dan Howgill was the only one to get going, as he made 20 in our disappointing 68 all out.
