What an amazing energy packed and fun club night we had last night (Tuesday 19-5-26). We learnt the Mark Vincent Partner stroll and also the Spin Behind The Gent Jive move. Perhaps you could join us next Tuesday?

Rock and Roll Dance Party
Hi all, it is happening this Friday - our Warwickshire Rock & Rollers first Rock & Roll Dance Party of the summer.
Admission (£5) then gives you free entry to your first Jive lesson on Tuesday.
The address as usual Tuesday night dances – St Patricks Irish Club, Riverside Walk, Adelaide Road, Leamington, CV32 5AH with parking just outside.
It is a great venue with a well-stocked bar at club prices plus a lovely patio overlooking the river.
Come and enjoy our friendly club and the fantastic music, dancing and dress styles of the 1950’s.
We have a live solo act from Rena and a rock ‘n’ Roll disco. Arrive at 7:00pm. Bring food for sharing (optional).

Club Night Tuesday 31-3-26
Hi All.
Today we have two new beginners (Beverly and Chris Coleman) and our six beginners from last week so we will revise the change of place and learn the ‘Y’.
For the intermediates we will revise the Turn Away and learn the Interrupt.
Arrive at 7:00pm to get a drink, say hi to our old friends and new beginners to make them feel at home and warm up on the dancefloor.
I love the way the ladies especially dress in bright happy R&R 50’s styles; let’s keep this going.

Tuesday 24 March 1950’s Rock and Roll Dance with beginner lesson beforehand.
If you have ever thought of trying any form of partner dance or even 1950’s Jive then NOW is the perfect time!
After a short break we are back to normal from this week. New beginners’ lessons start this week and your first night is free!
Lean to Dance 1950’s Rock and Roll (Jive), make new friends, get fit while listing to great music and quite simply change your life!!
If you don’t have a partner, no problem; you have the option of rotating in the lesson so everyone gets a partner. Also, our advanced dancers love to help our beginners in the lesson and the social dance which follows.
Arrive at 7:00pm to get a drink from the excellent bar at club prices and warm up on the dancefloor.
After the lessons you can practice your new moves in the 1950’s Rock and Roll dance till after 10:30pm.
If you are new to our club or just visiting; don’t forget to dress in bright happy R&R 50’s styles (optional) and flat comfortable shoes.

Please note, due to our venue being used this week and next for St Patrick’s Day celebrations we will not be meeting.

Hi All.
I am disappointed to report that due to the war our flights have been cancelled again and now we are booked to return on Monday 16th March.
So there will not be a club night this Tuesday (10th) or Tuesday 17th. I was not able to find any free venues for the 17th anyway due to it being St Patrick’s day.
So our next club night will be on Tuesday 24th at our usual venue, with lessons and everything as normal.
You can’t imagine how much I am looking forward to that day when I can be with you all again, dancing again.
