KIDS SUMMER HOLIDAY EXERCISE CLASSES
After working with children and seeing the benefits they receive from the exercise we do I have decided to launch a programme this summer holidays for all kids to join!
All the exercise classes will be online so can be done at home, on holiday or from wherever you are.
The classes will consist of mostly HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) & Cardio and it will help improve your children’s mental wellbeing, resilience, fitness levels & improve their mood, sleep and focus. I see the benefits exercise has on my clients mental health, resilience, mood and ability to deal with hard situations and want to share this with even more children 😊. Building healthy habits and coping mechanisms at a young age is so important. The physical benefits are a bonus too ✅😊
This is a great way to keep your children active during the holidays and release any extra tension/anxiety they are building up.

I had an (n)ice weekend 🧊🩵
Yesterday I went to my second ever retreat. After my first retreat in September opened my eyes to many new ways of unwinding, being present and renewing my energy, I wanted a “top-up” of this amazing feeling.
This day retreat included a breathwork session followed by an ice bath with .one.breathwork and a sound bath with 🧘♀️
I was looking forward to the breathwork and the sound bath however, the ice bath was so daunting. The ice bath yesterday was so daunting as I knew what to expect this time, and it wasn’t something I was excited about or looking forward to in the slightest. However, I actually loved it this time. Much more than I did the first time. The fear I felt for going in completely disminished as soon as I was in the ice and I felt really content and relaxed. I don’t believe this was a coincidence though, I believe this was because I’ve learnt a lot about how to control my breathing since attending .one.breathwork classes weekly and reminding myself the power of our minds when it comes to conquering things that make us feel uncomfortable or fearful.
I feel amazing today.
I feel excited & energised.
I feel clear minded & focused.
I feel renewed & uplifted.
I really recommend you take yourself out of your comfort zone and try alternative therapies for your mental & physical well-being. Some may work for you, some may not - in my eyes the risk is always worth it as you learn something from it either way 💫

Cortisol is nicknamed the “stress hormone”. During the course of a natural day, your cortisol levels will fluctuate naturally, rising in the morning to help you wake up, lowering throughout the afternoon, and being at its lowest point in the evening as you wind down for sleep. It is essential to have some cortisol in your bloodstream and daily fluctuations are healthy, it is only when your cortisol levels remain low or high for a prolonged period that problems will occur.
High levels of cortisol can slow down or even halt bodily processes that are considered nonessential to survive an immediate threat – such as your metabolism and reproductive system. Long term exposure to high levels of cortisol can also increase your risk of experiencing health issues such as obesity, anxiety, depression, diabetes & more.
Here are some symptoms of high cortisol:
▪️Weight gain around the midsection specifically
▪️Acne
▪️Easy bruising
▪️Muscle weakness & severe fatigue
▪️Irritability
▪️High stress & anxiety in every day life
If you experience any of the above then try some of the tips above to reduce your cortisol levels. It is important to make these activities part of your everyday life & install them as habits. Keeping up those habits and being consistent even during the busy/hard times in your life is the key 🔑

ISLE OF WIGHT CHALLENGE
Myself and Rosie completed the Isle of Wight Challenge a few weekends ago and had great fun doing it. A mixture of endorphins, beautiful views, a real sense of achievement, some really tasty food and most importantly a positive mentality is what got us through the tough bits. If you can master your mind then you can achieve great things in your life. Comment below a challenge you’ve always wanted to do… then ask yourself, what’s stopping you from doing it?

SET GOALS
Setting yourself measurable goals is a great way to stay motivated. It allows you to focus on something other than the way you look or doing it as a fad that never lasts. Setting goals will lead to creating a routine that becomes part of your daily habits. If you create a routine that is aligned with your goals and stick to it even when you don’t feel like doing it, you’ll find that you will eventually achieve what you set out to do. I’m not saying it will be easy and progress isn’t always linear, but you can achieve the goal if you are consistent, progressive and committed.
A few years back, I decided I’d love to be able to do a pull-up. With consistent training towards this goal and a routine that I continued to show up to do, even when I didn’t feel like it, meant I achieved this goal. And it felt great to achieve! Next goal: do 10 pull-ups in a row.
If you want help setting goals then give me a message and I’m here to help you!
