On Sunday our mechanic, Jam Price will be taking on a gruelling challenge of riding his road bike on a set of rollers at 15 different music venues in Stourport On Severn. This started as a way to raise money for three different charities and promote a free music festival the weekend after. This is a non profit making festival called StourJam in Stourport where 15 venues will host over 350 performers over 19 stages.

But this has turned into more than a charity event. It’s bringing the community of Stourport together and a very tough couple of weeks. Here’s Jam explaining more with a few quoted words ……

May is with Sunday 31st being the last day. 💚 I’ve struggled (and always will). We need to check in on each other. And really ask the question ‘Are you ok? When they say ‘yeah I’m fine’, you ask again looking deep into their eyes, ‘Are you REALLY ok?’

My own personal sadistic challenge

And I want to make my family, my daughters, my close ones, my friends, ME proud! 💎♥️🫶🏁

And can I reiterate I am scared, worried, panicking about this challenge. It is going to be tough! Really tough!!! 😥

Can I do it? Well, we’ll find out on Sunday. Hoping to see you all somewhere at some point. 🙏’

Over the duration of the day Jam will ride 45 minutes on rollers at all 15 venues. Rough estimates makes it over 200 miles during 12 hours. He’ll also be riding from venue to venue.

Round 4 of the British Cycling National Road Series for youth and junior riders.

There's lots of interest which is great.

Here at Cycle Infinity CIC our motto is 'Cycling is for everyone' so we are extremely excited to share that we have collaborated with our friends at Heart of England Mencap who are lending us a side by side bike for Saturdays ride.
Ideal for someone with less mobility, a learning disability or even the elderly, if you know someone who would love to take part in a mass ride and have been left disappointed, now is your chance!

There is only 1 available and it must be arranged in advance, don't just turn up expecting to use it.
It will be first come first served so email [email protected] to secure the bike.

Just to note - one of the riders needs to be a capable rider.

Jam Price originally built this road bike about 6 years ago for a good customer and friend. It’s had 6 years of hard use. 💪
We’ve given it a new lease of life! After a respray at we’ve lovingly rebuilt it with a spread of new builds whilst cleaning up and refitting some original parts.
