Warwick Ladies Saturday A 23 - 14 Godiva B

First run out of the season for our Saturday team, starting things off with a friendly against a solid Godiva team.

A quick match with a lot of end to end play, everyone played really well and it was a great opportunity to try some different combinations.

Our attackers in the D had to work hard against a tough defence, but kept pushing till the end and put up some incredible shots!

And our defence kept the opposition working hard too, getting some great intercepts 💪

Massive well done to for getting both opposition's and supporters' player on her debut! Putting in a shift, keeping the game flowing in attack while also defending really well all across the court 🙌

Warwick Wednesday A 45-8 Pink Pirates

A great first game of the season for Warwick Wednesday A, kicking off the first quarter with a very strong start.

Defence were on the hunt for any loose ball, overturning at every opportunity 👏

The newly formed attacking side worked effortlessly together, achieving great momentum to pop in every shot possible 🏐

POTM goes to Laura Cranshaw for her energy across the court at C, great interceptions and consistent feeding into the circle 🔥

Wed 12th vs Court Queens

First of the summer friendlies and against the last league winners....but what a fab game!

Defenders were on the top of their game to keep the shooters working for that ball.
We had a few changes in players for Bees, but still played extremely well against tough opposition and stifling heat.

POTM was the superb Meg, her leans, interceptions and fast reactions helped keep those shooters working hard!

Totally Netball Social League

We worked hard against a very strong team. The game was tough but we kept our spirits high, defence worked exceptionally, attackers and shooters were having to work very hard and adapt strategies to keep up with the tough opposition.

The challenge has given us plenty to work on at training 😆💜👌🏻 Our energetic Emmy won Player of the Match for her valiant defending 💪🏻 Well done team! 👏🏻

Warwick Ladies Wednesday Bees 🐝
Wednesday 5th August vs Falcons

Tough opposition in this match, but a good time to try out different positions and also work on using the drills we had practiced at training.

Defenders were kept busy, but made it as hard as possible for their attackers.

Our centre court worked hard to bring the ball down and our POTM for the evening was Becky doing her amazing runs into the D to shoot.

Well done Bees keep it going!

Congrats to our Warwick Bees Captain, Sam Stanley for getting Player of the Season for Division 2 🥳 in Wednesday’s Totally Netball social league.

Sam is not only a fantastic Captain but always plays with positivity, resilience and fairness. Well done Sam!

A fantastic morning at the Summer League’s end of season tournament.

Warwick Ladies finished 3rd 🥉 out of 8 teams!

Thank you all who came and played so hard in this heat! (And to my family who all turned up to cheer us on!)

We had Sharon from Stockton Club (Sam’s cousin) helping us out which we were grateful for.

Considering the only team we lost against (3rd game back to back!) won the league and tournament I think we played very well!

Warwick Alpacas 28-21 Pugs

After a difficult result last week, the Alpacas bounced back with a fantastic win against a competitive Pugs side.

Even in the heat, the team kept the intensity up whilst remaining calm throughout. We didn't panic when we were closed in through mid court and worked the ball around magnificently with support available throughout the court.

A big thanks to Sofie and Holly for stepping in, a great team performance by all.

Also a big thank you to our Captain Jen and her sideline support which is much appreciated!!

🏆 Congratulations to Laura on POTM, her persistent running and movement, even in the heat 🥵, played a pivotal role in moving the ball up court, and her swift reactions achieving several intercepts and recovering stray balls! Well deserved.
