Wednesday 3rd June

๐Ÿ Warwick Bees 29 - 13 Pink Pirates

Fantastic play from every player across the court. The team worked hard in defence, with some amazing turn overs, interceptions and rebounds. Play moved swiftly up the court, with everyone playing their part to get the ball into the attacking D.

Well done bees, super performance ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ™Œ

POM for captain Sam, but every player deserved the award this week!

A windy Wednesday night in Warwick this week saw a sterling effort from Warwick Ladies Alpacas against Pips! ๐Ÿ’จ

An extremely close game 23-24 and the sheer determination of the whole team to claw back the goal difference in the last quarter๐Ÿ’ช

Amazing effort all round but POTM for Sophie who worked the circle effortlessly and had some incredible shots ๐Ÿ˜ฎโ€๐Ÿ’จ

Wednesday 27th May
Warwick Ladies Alpacas 21 - 25 Court Queens

The Alpacas delivered their best result yet against Court Queens, narrowly missing out 25-21 in a closely contested match.

Both teams demonstrated good teamwork throughout, with some key turnovers leading to strong attacking opportunities. With a determined push in the final quarter, we brought the margin down to just four goals, making for an exciting end to the game.

Thanks to Sofie, Meg and Katie for stepping in to help us out, and player of the match went to Katy B.

Warwick Wednesday Bees 7-25 Vixens
Wednesday 27th May

Strong performance against a very good div 1 team who's defenders were phenomenal at reading the play.

Bees dug deep and played through the team using all their efforts to keep the ball alive with shorter passes.

Whilst these games against div 1 teams are tougher it also brings Bees up a level and we can learn a lot from these matches.

Our super speedy Sue won POTM well earned for her blocks, interceptions and endless running on an extremely hot night! ๐Ÿฅต๐Ÿฅต๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ–ค๐Ÿ

Warwick Ladies Wednesdays

20.06.2025
Warwick Bees 15 - 42 Warwick Alpacas

A lovely game against our sister team, played with great sportsmanship and supportive spirit all round.

The Bees showed how far they have come as a team this season and their improvement and strength was on display throughout.

Movement of the ball through mid court was smooth with sharp passes, coordinated spacing and high energy.

The mid court players linked effectively with the shooters providing active support around the D working the ball in and around when needed.

Great shooting accurancy, converting opportunities from all ranges within the D, and effective positioning around the post to collect any rebounds.

The defence was disciplined and determined throughout, creating numerous disruptions in play and making several clean intercepts.

It was a fantastic fight to the final whistle, great resilience and play was shown throughout by all.

Congratulations to Jo on POM, playing pivotal roles in both defence and attack during the game. Great movement and pressure within the defensive D and a lynchpin for the team when in attack. ๐Ÿ”ฅ

Warwick Ladies Sunday League
Sunday 17th May
Cov Bears Pink 41-19 Warwick Ladies

A good matchup as both shared the top of table positions going into the match.

They were a strong opposition and some brilliant shooting had Bears on top, but Warwick Ladies did not give up the fight. With some new players in new postions it was a valiant effort by all.

Potential new Warwick Ladies player Ellie joined us and smashed a full game at centre. Ellie was brilliant and tireless across the court, and looked very settled in our team. Ellie was awarded both Umpire and Opposition POTM. Very well deserved!

Warwick Ladies Wednesday Bees ๐Ÿ
Wed 13th May vs Pugs

Start of the new summer season. The league was changed to have both divisions merge.

Bees 1st game vs div 1 team pugs

A valiant effort to keep score as best we could, our defense having to work tirelessly to defend lots of shots.

Tough match but good to still see our positive attitude and we never gave in.

POTM was our good luck charm and queen of positive comments Hannah, solid throughout!

Keep going Bees ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ
