Royal Leamington Spa Bowling Club - Club Site

Following the success of the England cricket team, this weekend it is the turn of England’s bowlers to pitch themselves against the visiting Australian national teams.

The Australian bowls and para bowls teams arrived in Leamington last week for some early preparation at Victoria Park for the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games. During their two week visit they are playing home nation teams from Ireland, Scotland and England. This is the second consecutive year that the “Jackaroos” have visited Victoria Park demonstrating just how seriously this nation takes their preparations for the 2022 Games.

Royal Leamington Spa Bowling Club (RLSBC) are pleased to be able to welcome the visiting teams and to give them all a warm welcome to Victoria Park. We hope that they will enjoy their visit, our hospitality and are able to make the most of the opportunity for some high quality bowling.

This Saturday/Sunday 20th/21st July will see Australia play against England, following a warm up match against a team from RLSBC on Friday evening.

The club will also be hosting the English Amputee & Les Autres Bowls national outdoor championships on Saturday and Sunday 20th/21st July.

The bowling greens are closed now for the winter but a date for you diary is Tuesday April 11th 2017 when they open for the 2017 season.
