Two position’s are open ahead of the 26/27 season getting underway on 1st July.

- Thirds Team Manager
- Fourth Team Manager

The Thirds play in the Yorkshire Amateur League Div 2 and the Fourths in Div 4.

As the 25/26 season draws to an end we can announce Amjad Berroum will be stepping down as Ressies manager.
He has been a huge positive part of the club for several years now, helping manage and coach across the First Team, Ressies and Thirds teams.
Most recently, in charge of the 2s as they secured their place in the YAL Premier for next season.

We thank Amjad for all his time, commitment and hard work over the years! 👏👏👏

He will carry on as Treasurer and Secretary of the club, as well as support on all football matters across the Men’s, Women’s and Junior sections at AWMA.

🤝 Taking over the Ressies will be Jay Morris & Chris Dow.
Both have led the Thirds this season, creating a great team culture and went on a couple of good cup runs.

Battle of the Roses ⚔️🌹

An XI side plays Manchester Rovers tomorrow at the home of F.C United of Manchester⚽️

Will be a great experience for the lads!

Disappointing results to end the season. Ressies had two great chances in the first half, but found themselves 1-0 down at HT. Second half, again chances came and went on the counter. Mike Wood fired in to make it 3-1 and then again in the last 10 for 4-2. Shelley were far more clinical and controlled the game in large parts.

Thirds lost 9-2 at a good Garforth Rangers side, that are likely to gain promotion. Centre backs Ethan Mahmoudi & Mark Dixon with the goals in the first half.

Fourths tasted a 6-1 defeat to North Leeds, meaning relegation for the side to Div 4.
