As women enter perimenopause , oestrogen levels begin to decline — and with it, bone protection weakens. After menopause, this drop becomes more dramatic, leading to rapid bone loss — sometimes up to 20% within 5–7 years.

✅ Follow a weight training program about 45min to 1hr sessions 3-4x week
✅ Follow a macronutrient split that suits your training & goals
✅ Take rest days
✅ Manage stress - this includes monitoring soreness, mental health, quality sleep, etc

I wouldn’t say that you can lose weight without guilt, if I didn’t believe it myself.
I’ve spent the weekend
Enjoying Swiss and German pastries 🥮
Drinking Beer 🍺
Leaving food tracking behind 📝
Taking rest from training 🏋🏻♀️
All while undergoing a dieting phase currently at 1600kcal
Have I gone over my calories? - I don’t know
Have a hit my protein? - pretty sure I haven’t
Has my weight gone up or down? - No idea
Do I feel guilty?
Absolutely NO 👎🏻
3 days will not undo what I’ve worked over the last months, even years.
