Bump and Baby fit by Active Leeds welcomes new parents and their baby (under 12months), every Friday at Chapeltown Children’s Centre LS7 4AW 9.30-10.30am. Please text our dedicated Yoga instructor Silvana, to book your place. 07881276026 priority will be given to parents who have BMI over 30, history of gestational diabetes or type 2 diabetes. Please also register with Active Leeds to receive other benefits.

Chapeltown Children’s centre is hosting a FREE starting solids session Friday 6th February 1-3pm. This informal session aims to support parents and babies discover the path to introducing solid foods. To book a place please just ring us on 01133780042.

As part of the city wide children’s centre review Manor Wood Children’s Centre has now closed. Stay and play sessions can be accessed at Meanwood children’s centre. Families are also welcome to access Chapeltown Children’s Centre. All groups return W/C 5th January 2026.

Our baby group is now based within Little Owls Meanwood every Wednesday. Come and join us, where you will find a friendly and warm group for your baby to explore the world of play and discovery together each week. Our group is exclusively for pre walkers to allow them a quieter environment to play. No need to book just turn up at 10.30am. Please call the family services team if you have any further questions 0113 3780042.

Are you pregnant or recently had your baby? Come and join our Maternal Journal classes at Chapeltown Children’s Centre, run by dedicated midwives. A chance to learn more about your pregnancy, birth & baby, all whilst becoming creative. Ask your midwife to refer you from 16weeks or alternatively contact Nada- details on the posts. Starting weekly from 10th October! 🤰👩‍🍼
