I am delighted to announce an official partnership with Leeds United Academy.

Recently, we ran a taster session for the pre-academy players at Leeds United and subsequently will be working together moving forward.

“We have been meeting with and speaking to Tim at Speed for Sport regularly over the last few months and are excited to launch this official partnership. We are extremely confident that the partnership will be beneficial for both parties in the long run.

“Leeds United staff will support Speed for Sport through attending sessions and helping to tailor the sessions, making them sport specific.

Speed for Sport will help us by creating a pathway for talented and athletic individuals into a category 1 professional football academy.

Speed for Sport also provides local children in the community the opportunity to participate in elite level athletic development and coaching at an affordable and accessible price.”

He was released because he “wasn’t fast enough.”

That could’ve been the end of the story.

But it wasn’t.

He kept working. Kept showing up. Kept improving.

Another academy gave him a chance.

Then came the moment…

Playing against the team that let him go — they made a mistake.

He capitalised.

Goal.

Speed isn’t fixed.

Development isn’t linear.

Too many young athletes get labelled too early.

“Too slow”
“Not athletic enough”
“Not good enough”

But most of the time…
They just haven’t been coached properly yet.

That’s the difference.

At Speed for Sport, we don’t label athletes —
we develop them.

Because the right environment can change everything.
