Keep your course strategy simple to lower your scores!

Try and have realistic expectations when it comes to the outcome of your shots. To lower your scores, keep the ball in play with your tee shot, and from there, anywhere on the green is a good shot!

Most players make big scores on a hole because they are not in play off the tee and have no shot at getting the ball on the green. Or worse, they have to take penalty strokes (3 off the tee for example)

This could be a technical deficiency but it could also be poor strategy.

Some great changes in only 2 sessions!

Originally a very vertical swing, high hands and no depth, causing a big path and big misses.
-
We’re now more rotational and having neutralised the swing in terms of path we can now work with a clubface that is far more under control.

Big changes here, but I can see some lower scores in the near future.

It’s amazing what you can do with only a few changes.
He was really struggling with a big in to out path, a ‘left’ clubface and ultimately bad strikes, duffs, hooks, the lot!

A classic case of someone who plays a handful of times a year and can go months without hitting a ball, we worked on a much more repeatable move and with a little practice should be able to strike the ball with far more consistency.
More clubface control, and a more neutral swing path. As you can see, he’s starting to look like a proper player with that backswing position.

It was either the changes, or putting on a brightly coloured cap can really improve your swing 🤷‍♂️
