The 1st Team, with promotion still a possibility, travel to league leaders Kippax. Their game gets underway from 1PM at Burton Salmon.

It’s the final game of the season for the 2nd Team this week, and they finish off at home to Hemingbrough, hoping to finish the season with a win! Come down and show your support for the 2s final game!

GPCCC Golf Day 2026 ⛳

A great day had on Friday at Tadcaster Golf Club, with some good golf and definitely some bad golf played!

Well done to our winner on the day, James Baldwin, with 33 points.

Up The Parish! 💙🏏

A fantastic win at Green Lane on Saturday for our 1st Team, putting us into 2nd in the table with 5 games left to play this season. Losing the toss but asked to bat first, Stockton, Bramley, and Baldwin’s 50s pushed us to 270/7 from our 40 overs. A strong performance with the ball, with all the bowlers getting in on the action, saw us bowl Eastrington out for 153. Jack Caden was the pick of the bowlers with 4/52.

Over at Hemingbrough for the 2nd Team, it was a day to forget. The hosts batted first, with their number 3’s unbeaten 100 leaving us chasing 209 to win. Parish juniors Wilko and Louis picked up 3 wickets each. Unfortunately, we just couldn’t get going in the chase and were bowled out for 40 runs.

1st Team POTM: James Baldwin, 52*, 2/52, including a great leap for a caught and bowled for the final wicket! JB is sponsored by GG&Co., hair and beauty specialists located in the heart of Kippax High Street!
