Throwback Thursday 💭

Last week I celebrated 14 years with Motive8… and what a journey it’s been.

Over the years, I’ve seen the fitness industry evolve massively. We’ve moved from a heavy focus on weight loss to prioritising movement quality, strength, and long-term health. From 10Ks and bootcamps being the goal… to clients now taking on HYROX events and ultramarathons.

With that shift, I’ve had to grow too — continuously adapting, learning, and refining my coaching to meet people where they are and where they want to go.

I’m incredibly grateful to every client who’s trusted me to be part of their journey, and to everyone who’s supported mine along the way.

Here’s to 14 years… and plenty more to come.

Happy 14th Anniversary to our Hyrox loving Personal Trainer Kate!

Kate has been a huge part of motive8 over the last 14 years. Still full of energy and enthusiasm and always focused on helping her clients to get the best out of their workouts 💥. Kate's knowledge, dedication and passion is second to none and we are super thankful to have her as part of our personal training team🥰💪

Personally, I (Jenny) would like to thank Kate for her support and everything she gives into make motive8 a great place to train. Here's to another 14 years .....although we may have retired by then 🤣

Introducing Leon! Our new Personal Trainer at motive8!

A rugby player with a strong sporting background, we're loving the vibe Leon is bringing to the studio!

He is passionate about helping his clients hit their goals, and works with all clients from those striving to do better in their sports to those who have never stepped foot in a gym before.

Currently studying a BSc in Sport & Exercise Science, Leon uses his knowledge from his studies alongside his own sports background to ensure that clients are supported every step of the way in achieving their goals.
