Lewty Leads the Way — Maiden Ton for Perry
A first senior century for 19-year-old Perry Lewty — and what a knock it was.
Last Saturday facing New Rover, Perry produced a superb 101 from 100 balls, striking 11 fours and 3 sixes in a composed and powerful innings.
Coming in after early wickets, Perry steadied the ship before accelerating through the gears. Milestones came steadily — a fluent half-century, then pushing on to three figures in 99 balls to anchor the innings.
He built key partnerships along the way, including a century stand with Joshua Jackson, helping guide the 2nd XI to a strong total.
A brilliant knock under pressure and a well-deserved maiden hundred.
Congratulations, Perry — many more to come!

Back-to-Back Teen Tons — Zak Abbas Joins the Party
Just a week after Henry Sewards became our second-youngest centurion… he’s now third!
Zakariyyah Abbas, only a week on from his 14th birthday, put the St Chad’s attack to the sword with a magnificent unbeaten 109 — a knock that made the whole club, and father Yassir, incredibly proud.
Arriving at the crease with the score at 10–2, Zak built a superb innings and shared a club record 181-run partnership with Andy Calvert, who himself recorded his highest score for Rodley with 80.
Cruising towards his maiden Rodley century, a flurry of wickets at the other end threatened to derail things. But Gabriel Sowden held firm with a calm 15* to support Zak through to his milestone.
With 17 boundaries along the way, Zak guided the team to an impressive 252–7 and a truly memorable hundred.
Outstanding effort, Zak — a record-breaking knock!
