OUR MALE APRIL MEMBER OF THE MONTH .walker.96387189 🙌🔥

Don’t let Injuries hold you back!👊

Fair to say Jay has been a breath of fresh air since he joined the CHF Team In January.

Jay was doing the Saturday sessions before that but in the new year he really wanted to up his training, get into a proper weekly training routine and to get back to feeling his best through getting stronger and getting fitter.

Jay has always been capable but In the past with suffering serious injuries to his back and of which is something that will always be there so myself, .abot ⁩ and Jay have worked together as a three to make sure no injuries or setbacks occur as if Jay was to do any serious damage it’s not days out it could weeks/ months out of action.

But week on week we’ve trained smart pushed him all the way but then also pulled back slightly if/ when needed to.

Jay has smashed it consistently from January to this present day and he epitomises everything that we stand for here at CHF.

He consistently shows up, puts in the work and gives it 💯 🔥

Always there supporting, encouraging others around him and he’s one of the best leaders for any group when it comes to a Saturday Morning Sweat Session.

He’s stronger, fitter, looking awesome and he’s challenging and testing himself the for the CHF Community Hyrox Event in Leeds in July. 🙌

Emma wanted to Lose Weight/ Body Fat, tone up and to find some structure to her training.

She wasn’t sure what she needed to do, where to start or what would be best for her but through our consultation process we laid out a clear roadmap of what Emma needed to get the results she wanted and to have success with her fitness journey.

Emma just needed to take that step and get started…

Emma joined our 8 Week Fat Loss/Kickstarter programme and since she got started she never looked back👊

Weight Lost: 8 Pounds (1 pound a week, sustainable weight loss. (The key 🔑)

Big shoutout to CHF Member @⁨Gill Mitchell⁩ 🙌👏

Another lady who since starting back at the end of April/may time has just gone from strength to strength💪

Gill was only saying last night she was looking back at a video the gym posted to last year of what she was doing - to no where she’s completely surpassed that and her strength, the Weights she’s lifting and how’s she performing in the gym has come on so much👏👏

Gill has consistently shown up, stayed consistent a journey of lots of ups, some challenges but just like Pauline trusted and stuck to the process and she’s now reaping the rewards🙌

The lady who first walked through the doors for the first time to now the change has been amazing to see👏

40 Inches lost since the beginning is an amazing achievement.

Keep smashing it Gill🔥💪

What a journey it’s been from CHF Member Pauline Sowden⁩ from over 3 years ago. 🙌

Hating the gym, didn’t think she was cut out to do it, and not been able to do a Body Weight Squat without holding onto something…

To now three years later, losing a whopping 60 inches over that time.

Pauline has always been about the journey, enjoying the process.

Wanting to keep progressing, keep challenging herself, keep pushing herself.

A journey of self improvement🙌

A mindset without limits where you believe you can achieve anything once you put your mind too it.

We are all guilty of looking forward but sometimes it’s also good to look back and realise just how far you’ve come.

Looking back on the journey and thinking “that person who walked through the doors for the first time those years ago to now”

Unrecognisable that’s what this fitness journey is all about.

Keep smashing it Pauline Sowden⁩ 👏👏

CHF Members Episode 17💪

“Lack of exercise sat behind the office desk all day”

Big shoutout to another one of our amazing members Simon.

Simon has absolutely smashed it so far in 2026 with a Losing a stone (14 pounds) since the start of the year👏👏

A fitness community can be a powerful source of support, encouragement, and accountability and can help play an integral role in achieving your fitness goals.

Simon has seen significant changes to his strength and cardio vascular fitness including been able to deadlift over 160kg, barbell squat over 160kg and he’s certainly one of the power houses in the gym.

Simon has an infectious bubbly personality always there cracking the jokes and supporting and encouraging other members to do there best in the session.

Simon also trains for not only his physical health but his mental connorhallfitness “Lack of exercise sat behind the office desk also give him the energy and productivity to be the best in his working environment.

Simon is an integral part of the CHF Community and someone who loves to work hard but also plays hard too.

Simon also trains to help strengthen and to reduce the pain in his knees due to past sporting injuries. Our quality strength training is helping his quality of life by improving and strengthening muscles around the knee.

Not only for a strength point but a movement standpoint to help him to stop suffering with pain in every day life.

Here at CHF we ensure our members are achieving and progressing towards achieving there desired fitness goals but not at the expense of having fun along the way.

If you want to succeed with your fitness journey find the balance, stay consistent and play the long game.

Here at CHF we want to show people that this fitness journey can be fun and not a chore or a misery👌

We encourage all of our members to have a variety of ways to track their progress and their success in and out of the gym.
Success is not just a number of the scale.

It is a multitude of things and the better we get at not putting all of our value on one number the happier we are likely to be.

1️⃣ Scales
The scales can be a good marker of progress - especially if you are on a fat loss journey and you have a target weight to get healthy. But they don’t tell the full story.

2️⃣ Measurements
The number might not be moving on the scales but your measurements might be changing. The main ones to look at are hips, waist, legs and arms - we provide this for our members so they can check in on how they are getting on an to make they are on track and making progress.

3️⃣ Clothes
Ultimately - who cares what the scales say if you are fitting into your clothes better and feeling more confident? Nobody knows what you weigh, but they will notice that you are looking good in a pair of jeans and you are giving off an air of more confidence as you walk.

4️⃣ Mental Health
This is huge and not something we can easily measure - however don’t discount the impact which being consistent will have on your mental health which will then transter into so many other areas of your life.

5️⃣ Strength
Not only with what you are lifting weight wise - but also new movements which you maybe couldn’t do before. Are you now lifting with a barbell? Can you do box jumps?

6️⃣ Energy levels outside of gym
We have lost count of the number of times members have started at the gym and it has had an impact on areas outside of these four walls. Getting out for long walks, enjoying playing different sports, running - just being more active in general.

7️⃣ Fitness
Within the gym - are you able to last longer on the cardio machines? Are you able to do more without fatigue hitting?
You might not realise it session to session - but if you look back on how much you have improved you will probably surprise yourself.

Look at your fitness and health as an all-rounder - not just one number.

HOW TO PRIORITISE YOUR FITNESS AND WELLNESS WHEN YOU HAVE LIMITED TIME⏱️

“I don’t have time for breakfast - I’ll just grab a pastry on the way into work.

“I’m too tired to get to the gym - I’ll get started again next week.”

“I don’t have time to sleep for eight hours - I’ll catch up on the weekend.”

“Ugh, it’s midnight. Just one more episode...”

🔔Ring any bells?🔔

Today’s 24|7 connected culture is blurring the line between life and work; promoting multitasking and never switching off. It can feel like burnout is never far off - and our own
‘Wellness’ is often the priority that falls off the bottom of our todo list.

Here are our realistic tips to look after your own wellbeing in today’s ‘busyness pandemic.

• Get clear on your priorities
If we try to add more stuff to our list without striking other items off first, we’re looking down the barrel of burnout. Get clear on what’s important, and make it your priority.

Break the busyness ‘addiction’
Making time for wellness starts first with a change of mindset

- stepping away the compulsion to measure our self-worth by the size of our to-do list.

- Rewire your habits
‘Wellness’ only works if we can make it our autopilot. We need to build new habits that put our wellbeing first.

• Embrace the grey area
Make small, manageable changes that you know you can If you break them, don’t throw the baby out with the bathwater. Give yourself some grace, and move on.

• Have a schedule
When it comes to prioritising your wellness, if you get good at planning and prepping, the doing bit gets a whole lot easier.

• Make exercise a non-negotiable
Moving our bodies is one of THE best things we can do for our wellbeing. Having scheduled workout times in small groups is the best way to stick to a training routine.

⏳Take time out
Being compulsively busy means that even when we finally get an hour or two to chill, we feel guilty for not spending it ‘productively’ We need to push about at this dynamic and take proper time off.

CHF JANUARY MEMBER OF THE MONTH: 🔥💪

Big shoutout to our January Member of the Month Paul Moody.

Paul got in touch at the start of the year. He had a membership at a big commercial gym but with no support, left to his own devices, not able to get on any machines with it being just too busy meant he was fed up and stuck in a rut with his health and fitness.

Paul knew he needed to get back on track but with no support, structure and accountability, then trying to navigate your training around work and having busy lifestyle, for most it’s just too much of an uphill battle….

Until he got in touch with CHF.💪

Paul joined our 8 week Fat Loss/kickstarter programme and since then he’s absolutely smashed it🙌

Weight Lost: 4.5 Pounds (steady Sustainable Weight loss)

Inches Lost: 13.25 Inches

4 Inches lost around his waist🔥🙌

So far he’s 4 weeks in and has really got stuck into it.

Settled in straight away, and he epitomises what CHF is all about.

Showing up consistently, putting in the work, supporting and pushing others within the group and gives it his all especially on a Saturday morning.

Being part of positive like minded individuals, a support community and environment to help thrive has been the 🔑

Keep smashing it Paul🙌🔥
