Don't forget folks Squires Car Cruise Part Deux. The one with better weather(hopefully) Part 1 was horrendous weather and we thanks the brave souls that still turned up. We decided to do Part 2 to hopefully raise a decent amount for our charities. Sunday 13th October. Pay on the day. £10.00 per car (not per person). Tell your mates and lets make part deux fantastic.
As from the May meet the entrance fee will be going up to £3.00 per car. The fee has been £2.00 per car for the past 7 years. The increase is to encourage more marshals to attend and also goes towards the cafe staff wages for cleaning up after the meets.
We will also be splitting cars from next month as hopefully the fields will be dry enough to do this. The fields will be sign posted.
We would also like to remind people that antisocial behaviour in not permitted. It is a static meet. Members of the public are also discouraged from standing in the gateway and crossing the road. It is dangerous and irresponsible. Cars drive past at speed and they will also be discouraged from doing so with a greater police presence around the area. We want everyone to enjoy our meets but it takes co operation and respect.
There will be no modified meet this month. We are busy putting measures in place to make the car events safer for all concerned. The next modified event will be 16th August. The J*p car meet will be going ahead on Tuesday 2nd August as usual.
