Leg circles are a classic Pilates move for hip mobility and core control.
When your feet are in the straps, the springs support your legs, helping you move smoothly and focus on alignment.
Take the straps away, and suddenly your core has to work much harder to keep everything stable!
Both versions are brilliant,just different challenges for your body!

🌿 Flexibility vs Strength – Finding the Balance
People often assume I’ve always been flexible, but that’s definitely not the case. It’s taken a lot of time, consistency and patience to get here, and even now, I have to work hard to keep the right balance between strength and flexibility.
Flexibility on its own isn’t the goal. Without strength to support it, it can actually make us more vulnerable to injury. The magic happens when you build mobility, control and strength together, that’s when your flexibility becomes functional, safe and sustainable.
That’s exactly what my Splits Focus class is all about. We’ll focus on opening up safely, building the strength to support your range, and learning how to move with confidence at every stage.
