Autumn Timetable Update 🍂
A few little tweaks to my permanent timetable for Autumn:
New classes Amilia Studios ™ | Luxury Reformer Pilates
Monday
11:30am Mat Pilates
12:30pm Hot Mat Pilates
New classes BLOC STUDIO
Tuesday
9:30am Dynamic Mat Pilates
10:30am Vinyasa Yoga
Practice makes progress đź’«
This is definitely something I’m still working on, but it’s also something I could not do at all! I remember being taught it during my training, and I just couldn’t get off the bed! Fast forward 2.5 years and it’s getting there!
This week I’ve been trying to get into a jackknife before coming off, it’s not perfect but it’s better to than it was yesterday!
2 things have allowed me to go from not being able to get up at all:
1. Having a personal practice, not only do I go to classes, but I practice by myself most days, before or after teaching. If I can’t do something I film I watch back, I correct, I research, I ask other teachers advice!
2. Surrounding myself with other people who are curious about what they can do and open to giving things a go! This particular version was sent to me by and we’ve both been working on it and sending clips! (His is better than mine, but that just inspired me to keep working!)
If ever I present something to you in class that feels impossible , remember it’s not about getting it right first time, to be able to do the hard things, you have to practice doing the hard things!
