✨ Motivation is what gets you started, Habit is what keeps you going ✨
My Clients always ask me “How do you stay motivated?” Or “Do you rely on motivation?” and the answer is: No, I am not always motivated, I can’t rely on motivation when it is just a feeling. One minute you feel motivated, the next you don’t, it’s has a cycle. It’s easy to feel motivated at the start of the week after having a great weekend, but if you have a busy day on Monday, work becomes intense & then you start to lose motivation throughout the day, you are most likely going to skip the gym! By the end of the week, your motivation levels have dropped, not attending the gym or focusing on some “me time” and then will just be awaiting the weekend! To go back into that same cycle.
Don’t get me wrong, I have been there! And I tend to feel guilty if I skip things such as training, so then I will stress myself out by trying to find time within my day or week to fit things in!
This is why I DONT rely on motivation!
So, what do I do to ensure I turn up to every gym session, stay consistent with food?
Self Discipline and Build Habits.
Once you’ve built a habit, you will up and out the door heading to that gym session. That session you’ve scheduled in last week & now committing to it, showing up and feeling so much better for it.
Relying on habits and becoming more disciplined with yourself, will give you more headspace and your stress levels reduced!

Client Appreciation Post
For the past year, I have seen nothing but progress with my lovely client
She initially came to me, wanting to lose body fat and build confidence within the gym… not only have we focused on that, we built habits in order to stay she has stay consistent in the gym, attends classes, pushes herself when she is training and we have the best sessions!
Her nutrition has improved massively, mindful of what she has and enjoys a glass of gin and lovely food on a weekend! No restrictions here!

Entering week 3 of cutting phase, always finding it a struggle in the first couple weeks especially when you finish your bulking phase🥲

this weeks goals:
- steps hit (tend to fall off this on a weekend)
- train hard as alwayssss
- water intake (slacking on a weekend again)
- cardio 5 days/20minutes (only completed 3 days last week)
- fuel body & stay on track
