Thank you to Phoenix Dance Theatre for inviting us to be part of The Yorkshire Youth Dance Platform last night Stanley & Audrey Burton Theatre
Such an inspiring and aspirational opportunity for our group to be part of. Well done team 💪
We provide performance possibilities throughout the year for every dancer from Union of Dance as there is no better or more empowering feeling than getting on a professional stage with lights, haze, costume and an audience.
If you know anyone 11-16 with a passion for dance, we meet Thursdays in Otley www.unionofdance.co.uk

👋Hi. Nice to meet you.
We thought we’d introduce our small and perfectly kind and talented team of dance artists who are the people behind Union of Dance
First up is Melody…
Melody teaches at classes, camps and education projects and has strong commercial and contemporary experience. We absolutely love how kind, open, and giving she is — she brings such a breezy, upbeat energy to the studio, and the children adore her! ✨
Bio: Melody has been dancing since the age of four, growing up in Lincolnshire and training in ballet, tap, jazz, and musical theatre. From a young age, she fell in love with performing, taking part in productions and pantomimes that sparked her passion for storytelling through movement.
At 18, she moved to Leeds to study Contemporary Dance at university, where she developed her technique, creativity, and unique artistic voice. After graduating, she joined Union of Dance alongside performing herself.
Melody is passionate about inspiring the next generation and loves helping children grow in confidence, achieve their goals, and express themselves through dance.
Side random fact; Melody’s Surname is Bell… her dog is Taco…and the kids looove this story! 🌮
To join our classes head to www.unionofdance.co.uk (bio) where you can find our full timetable and other dance opportunities for all.

Wetherby Lights switch on with our Collingham & Bramhope young ones and our local high school group Wetherby High School
Well done to you all. Despite the hurling rain you were true professionals and brought the festive sass and cuteness in equal measures!
We love chances to celebrate our dancers.
Leading the groups firstly with kindness, support and encouragement.
Thank you to Wetherby & District Business Association for inviting us again. Really great event

I love and appreciate the gifts to say thank you but I really love the words written by parents and children saying they felt supported and seen this year. Makes me happier than a shelf elf on the 26th December!
