Over the past 12 months it’s become apparent how important exercise is for us all, both physically and mentally.
The gym can be a place for:
Someone to help with their mental health if their struggling.
Someone wanting to build their confidence
Someone who is recovering from battling an addiction
Someone to socially interact with others when their feeling low and lonely
Someone fighting to improve their health for medical conditions they may have

2 DAYS AND COUNTING! 🙌🏻
As we draw closer to the re opening of the studio, we often hear ‘I’m not fit enough for a personal training session’ or ‘Do you have a more beginner class?’
For us this is like saying I’ll go to the doctors when I’m better 😂 It’s just about stepping out of your comfort zone and making that decision to get stuck in and do what needs doing to achieve your goals!

We don’t have any memberships or tie ins, just a supportive environment that welcomes growth.

“Comparison is the theft of joy” ☝🏼
We’re all guilty of comparing ourselves to others. We compare ourselves to how someone else looks physically, the weights they are lifting, the exercises they are performing or even the steps they’ve taken.....the list is endless ☹️
Most of the time we have no idea about the other person’s fitness journey, their genetics, routine or how long they’ve been training for!
It’s important to take inspiration from others but not to self judge too harshly. Focus on surrounding yourselves with individuals who inspire you and motivate you rather then cause you to self sabotage.
With social media and the current climate it’s very easy to compare and get drawn into the ‘shiny things’
“They drink detox tea, that’s why they are ripped I must try that, that’s where I’m going wrong’ ❌
Not knowing, but that person may have 8 hours sleep a night, hit their macros/calories and be consistent with their training.
Own your own journey, progress and self love will come 🧡

POWERS Bodyweight bootcamp is starting the 12th April 🙌🏼 We can’t wait to be back!
Power up your workouts with our BODYWEIGHT BOOTCAMP. Come and join us in the park for stress relieving, fun and energetic workouts designed for all abilities.
It will be running:
Monday’s 18:30-19:15
Saturdays 9:30-10:15
