What a night. ❤️

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the 2026 Hyde Park Harriers Summer Mile another fantastic evening of racing. To all our runners, volunteers, officials, supporters and spectators – thank you! Despite the heatwave, everyone embraced the challenge and helped create an unforgettable atmosphere from the first heat to the last.

Congratulations to our winners! 🏆 Toby Antcliff (Leeds City AC) stormed to victory in a new course record of 4:25, while Charlotte van Zelst (Leeds City AC) claimed the women’s title. The team competition was won by Leeds City AC, with Hyde Park Harriers taking the runners-up spot.

We’re incredibly grateful to the organisations who supported this year’s event: SportsShoes, New Balance, Athletic Brewing, OTE Sports, Elliptical Wealth Management, Coffee on the Crescent, West Point Practice, Global Credit Recoveries, Next Notch and RaceBest. 🏆A reminder that clubs entering 10+ runners will receive a trophy for their fastest miler. 🏆🏆 Where clubs enter at least 4 men and 4 women, separate men’s and women’s trophies will also be awarded

This year’s Summer Mile approaching 75% sold out and we’re looking forward to another big evening of racing around Woodhouse Moor on 24th June.

We’re also pleased to announce that Hyde Park Harriers will donate £1 for every entry to Support After R**e & Sexual Violence Leeds (SARSVL) - an independent charity providing specialist support to survivors across Leeds and the surrounding area.

What a weekend of racing at the Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon 👏

Huge congratulations to everyone who took part. The support across the city was incredible from start to finish.

Now that marathon season is coming to a close, it feels like the perfect time to switch focus towards something shorter, faster, and a little bit different… 👀
