Unfortunately we’ve had to ban a couple of people today , leaving litter and using constant bad language around the park isn’t acceptable behaviour no matter if your 10 or 80 . Please use the many bins for any litter and respect your surroundings at all times .

Great to see the young lads having a good time on the pond , best 2 of 6 from yesterday unfortunately he left his trakker landing net at the lake , if anyone has found it could they let us know so we can get the net back to its rightful owner . Thanks

Rules of the lake june 2026 onwards
1/ all anglers must have a valid ea fishing licence
2/all fish to be returned to the lake
3/all rubbish to be taken home or placed in the parks bins angling related litter to be taken home
4/respect all other park users
5/no excessive alcohol “adhere to local laws”
5a / no drugs
6/no fires
7/ no keepnets
8/all landing nets / weigh slings / unhooking mats to be bone dry before fishing commences
9/ all anglers must have an unhooking mat and use it
10/ all anglers must have a 36 inch landing from Jan 2025
11/no fixed leger / feeder rigs
12/barbless hooks max size 6
13/minimum of 10lb mainline to be used if legering
6lb if float fishing
14/no rods to be left unattended
15/all line breakages to be reported to baliffs
16/baliffs word is final
17/ from 2024 every angler to be in possession and use fish care liquid .
18/ no items of fishing tackle to be on or over the path ie brollys , chairs or poles and pole rollers .
19/ no spinning / lure fishing
20/ strictly no pruning of trees or vegetation
21/ car parks to be used for parking purposes
22/ must be 16 to night fish or with a responsible adult of 21 or over
23 your equipment is your responsibility do not leave unattended
24 night fishing MUST be booked on
25 no loud or antisocial behaviour

Failure to comply with any of these club rules you will be asked to leave or the local law enforcement called.

Day tickets will also remain the same at £8 for the day or £20 per 24 hours .
