Summer League 26 round 1 opens Friday 15 May. Free to enter, running all summer.

Curious? Here’s what it is:

A five round bouldering competition that runs from May to September. Every three weeks we set 30 brand new problems, ranging from beginner friendly (around V0–V2) up to nails (V8 and beyond). Have a go at as many as you can, as many times as you like, over the three weeks the round is open. Points stack up over the season, and the top scorers in each category get to compete at the live final on 4 September.

We have seven categories, pick the one that works for you: Female, Male, Open, F. Paraclimber, M. Paraclimber, 45+ Female, 45+ Male.

First time at a comp? Loads of climbers do their first one through our Summer (or Winter League). Come and join in, see how you go.

How to sign up on BETA:

Watch your category pick and scroll across before you tap, all seven options are there and it’s easy to grab the wrong one.

Check your category ranking in the BETA app any time. We’ll post standings here at the end of every round.

Innovate
A focused day of youth athlete development as part of the BMC Talent Pathway, held at City Bloc Leeds.

Young athletes and coaches came together for a day built around progression, effort and the future of the sport, with plenty of try hard, support and good energy in the room.

Just a heads up, the comp wall will be closed from Wed 15th to Sat 18th April while we get it ready for a England Climbing Youth training event.

We’ll be prepping the comp wall Wednesday to Friday, the event is on Saturday, and the comp wall will reopen to the public at 6.30pm on Sat 18th April.

The rest of the centre will be open as normal throughout.

We’ll then be adding more blocs on Tuesday 21st April.
