A big thank you to everyone who came down to our 2nd recruitment night. We had a blast. You should all be proud of how well you did, especially those of you that had never worn skates before (or not in years). And for the folk who joined us last week, it was lovely to see how your confidence has grown in only one week!

5NRD would like to reiterate that Trans People belong in Sport, and we will continue to follow the trans and gender non-conforming inclusive policies/language laid down by both Derby governing bodies and

Next up is Red Riot (but just call her Gabby) who yes is this smiley in real life. We're so lucky to have her as our head of academy, and if you want her to teach you how to skate (which trust me, you do) there's still time to sign up to our recruitment night tomorrow.

We're starting a new thing! Introducing Team Tuesdays, where every week you'll get to meet one of the amazing people who make Leeds Roller Derby.

Starting with Grace Ventura, an original LRD owl, blocker extraordinaire and all around delight.
