𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗹𝗲𝘆 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝘀𝗻'𝘁 𝗴𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝘆𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲..

With the launch of Yorkshire Ammers SU FC, we've had a few people asking what happens to Stanley United.

We're pleased to confirm that Stanley United will continue into the 2026/27 season as our Sunday team.

The club has been built by fantastic people over many years, creating memories, friendships, and a community that we're incredibly proud of. That doesn't disappear.

Whilst Yorkshire Ammers SU FC begins an exciting new chapter on Saturdays, Stanley United will continue flying the flag on Sundays.

Thank you to everyone who has supported us throughout the years. We look forward to seeing you all again next season!

𝗢𝗻𝗲 𝗟𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗡𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗔𝘀 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗹𝗲𝘆 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱 ❤

Last week marked our final end-of-season presentation as Stanley United before we begin a brand new chapter as Yorkshire Ammers SU FC.

It was a fantastic evening celebrating the players, staff, volunteers, supporters, sponsors, families, and everybody who has been part of the club’s journey over the years.

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported Stanley United both on and off the pitch. From matchdays and training nights to the people working behind the scenes, every contribution has helped shape this club and the community around it.

A special shoutout as well to The Woodman Outwood, Nikki, and Dave for being behind us throughout all these seasons — always welcoming us, hosting brilliant events, and showing constant support to the club along the way. We truly appreciate everything you’ve done for Stanley United.

The evening also gave us the opportunity to recognise this season’s award winners:

Join us this Saturday as Stanley United comes together to celebrate the season.

A day to recognise the players, staff, volunteers, supporters and everybody who has played their part throughout the year.

We’re on the road tomorrow for our final game of the season as we face Bradford United. The lads have been putting in the work and will be looking to finish the season strong with a solid performance away from home.

One last push, one more big effort — let’s end it on a high. Your support, as always, makes a huge difference!

𝗙𝗨𝗟𝗟 𝗧𝗜𝗠𝗘: 𝗚𝗼𝗹𝗰𝗮𝗿 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱 4–1 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗹𝗲𝘆 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱

Stanley made the journey up to Golcar for the second to last away game.

Stanley started brighter enjoying more possession and created a couple of early chances but couldn’t capitalise on their superiority.

Once again Stanley's defensive frailty surfaced again when Golcar against the run of play breached the defence on the half hour to ho 1-0 up, five minutes later Golcar added a second from close range to end the half 2-0.

The second half was a more even affair with Golcar employing the long ball to good effect, even so Stanley created chances but couldn’t find the net, then from a corner Stanleys goal was breached again in what looked a dubious goal as Stanleys keeper was impeded as the ball was bungled in.

Stanley had a brief period of optimism when awarded a penalty for hand ball which Simni scored from 3-1, the optimism didn’t last long when Golcar headed a fourth from a corner again , all in all a disappointing afternoon in the sun, ft 4-1.

Not the result we were after, but plenty to take and build on as we head into the final stretch.

We’re proud to reveal the new badge for Yorkshire Ammers S. U FC — a symbol of the next chapter for everyone connected to the club.

While this marks change, it also represents progress, opportunity, and everything that’s been built to reach this point.

We’d like to thank everyone for the positive reaction to the news we shared yesterday, the support across both clubs has been incredible.

It’s clear that everyone connected to Stanley United and Yorkshire Ammers can see the benefits this brings, and we truly believe the future is brighter and stronger together.

We’d also like to extend a big thank you to John Williams and Adam Fox from Stanley United, alongside Jake Boyd, Will Bowlers and Lutel James from Yorkshire Ammers, for their proactive approach and for recognising the potential of what we can achieve as one.

This wasn’t an easy decision, but it’s one we firmly believe is the right step forward for everyone involved.
