Remembering Tom Liptrot 💙🤍

A fierce competitor, a proud teammate, a dedicated father, and one of the driving forces behind the Leeds HC we know today. Tom gave this club his passion, energy, vision, and countless unforgettable memories — on and off the pitch.

From helping transform Farsley HC into Leeds HC, to welcoming new players, touring with the Old Peculiers, and supporting the next generation through our junior section, Tom’s impact on this club is impossible to measure.

A true club legend who will be deeply missed and forever remembered by so many.

Join us on Saturday 20th June at Weetwood from 12pm as we celebrate Tom’s life with a Memorial Day featuring matches, memories, fundraising, and an evening social in Headingley.

We’re also looking for players for the LHC mixed team match — ideally those who knew Tom. If you’d like to play, please text Tim Newman or message the club directly to pass onto Tim.

All friends, family, past and present members are welcome. Let’s give Tom the send-off he deserves.

WOW! What a day yesterday at the Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon & Half Marathon 💙

Our amazing supporters were up bright and early setting up the incredible signs they created to cheer on our runners — and what a difference they made, so our first thanks goes to them! 🤍

To all of our runners: you were absolutely INCREDIBLE. The determination, grit and resilience shown by every single one of you was inspiring. We are so proud of each and every one of you 👏

LHC x Mind 💙 Half & Full Marathon tops have landed!

Our club members have been putting in the miles and the races are now less than a week away (Sunday 10th May) 🙌 If you’d like to support them, the link to donate is in our bio — every bit means a lot. Our club are passionate about supporting mental health. 15% of everything raised will go to Mind, helping to fund vital mental health services and support those who need it the most 💙

We’re recruiting players to strengthen our Men’s 1XI squad competing in National League Division 1 North (Outdoor) for the 2026/27 season.

- Train and compete on a water-based FIH National Standard pitch
- Outdoor training: Tuesdays 8–10pm
- Additional individual training available
- Indoor season: National League Division 1 from November
- Coached by Carl Smith

Congratulations to our U18s – Tier 2 National Cup Champions! 🏆

A fantastic 4–2 victory over Sevenoaks, led by captain Phoebe Owen. Goals from Amy Turner, Evie Cronin, Mara Morrison, and Emma Knowles sealed an incredible performance.
