Finding ways to cut costs, manage staffing and maintain school’s standard is an everyday battle for most head teachers.

This is especially true as the government sets to introduce mandatory changes regarding wraparound care. From September 2026, primary school families will have access to term-time childcare from 8am – 6pm.

What many schools don’t realise is that wraparound care can also provide a practical solution to rising PPA cover costs! 🙌👏

By partnering with external specialist providers to deliver wraparound clubs, schools can deliver high-quality childcare for families without any of the stress. Additionally, renting your facilities to external specialists is a fantastic way to generate extra revenue.

✨ Employee of the Month: July ✨

A huge congrats to Uma, our specialist Art Teacher, whose hard work and dedication to inspiring children has recognised her as employee of the month for July!

Uma has consistently delivered high-quality lessons, helped set up inspiring art exhibits around the school and receives glowing feedback from the headteacher and other staff from her partner school.

Bryan, Uma's manager, says "she brings her best every day and is a fantastic teacher who fully embodies the LSC standard."

A huge congrats to Matty, our Employee of the Month for May!

Matty has gone above and beyond over the last couple months not only delivering exceptional PE lessons but also spending his free time promoting our EYFS sessions at Birkenhead School and supporting their open day.

He also supports LSC's Marketing department a couple hours a week and has recently welcomed a baby girl to the world- Congrats Matty!

George's manager, Jack, praises his excellent work at our recent Easter Holiday Clubs, stepping up as site lead for the first time. He is also progressing really well on his apprenticeship!
