Bramley Wheelers Cycling Club Leeds

We have 6 rides to choose from this Easter Weekend all meeting at Proper Bike Shop on Stanningley Road from 8.45 for a 9am roll out. Here’s what we have on offer (remember you don’t need to be a member to get involved!):

Saturday 20th April:

Social to Bingley ~30 miles @10-12mph av
C ride to Tadcaster ~45 miles @12-14mph av
B ride to Birkin ~55 miles @14-16mph av

Sunday 21st April:

C ride to Knaresborough ~50 miles @12-14mph
B ride to Burnsall ~55 miles @14-16mph av
B+ ride to Howden ~100 miles @16-18mph av

To find out more comment on here or send us a dm. All you need is a functional bike, nutrition, and the willingness to have fun and turn the pedals! Choose the right group and off you go, it’s as easy as that! For those that have never ridden in a group before it may be best to go in the social ride, but if you have group riding experience any group is good, just make sure you’re present for the ride briefing.

It's opening weekend in the pro road cycling calendar! Join us for our season opener socials over the cobbles and bergs of Yorkshire.

We've got two groups going out on Saturday 24th February at 9am:
C/B to Otley, with some cobbles (~50-60km or so, not too hilly)
B/B+ to Trooper Lane and Shibden Wall (~60-70km or so, very hilly)

Both groups will end up back at Lifecycles bike shop to watch the end of Omloop Het Nieuwsblad.

Also, next week is the cobbled classic season opener social on Saturday 24th! More details soon, but there'll be a social ride, a C/B ride, and a B/B+ ride out to Shibden Wall. We'll finish back at the shop to watch the end of Omloop Het Nieuwsblad, the first Belgian cobbled classic of the cycling season.

The weather's looking a bit sketchy with some wind forecast, but we'll keep an eye on it and potentially change routes if needed.

On Saturday we have the monthly women's social ride. 9am as usual.

On Sunday we have 2 rides so far. Both are starting at 10am since we have the Christmas social the night before.

B to Fewston (or somewhere else if it's getting icy out that way)
