I wanted to open up about this because I've noticed shaming towards body positive influencers that have changed sizes for various reasons. It's still commenting on someone's body. FYI πΆ
I also see a lot of clients struggle with not progressing ALL of the time and this expectation that it's a straight line on a graph that heads smoothly towards your goal. So I'm opening up about my own journey at the moment, the rocky but realistic graph π (my hormones wreak havoc, btw), and the reasons why someone might want to drop some BF but still appreciate their body at all sizes β€οΈβπ©Ήπ«ΆπΎβ¨οΈ
It's to do with overall health. If you've been following me for a while, you'll know that I used to compete in Novice strongwoman but the injuries were relentless. I stopped competing and pursued other things focusing on my business, but the pain never subsided. Turns out I have chronic conditions. Last year, I had another bought of injuries, resulting in a bit of weight gain, which is fine. Bodies change, and life happens. However, that gain has exacerbated symptoms over time. That's the part where I think overall health is too important to me, so I decided to make positive changes. β€οΈβπ©Ήπ«ΆπΎβ¨οΈ
