What a way to finish the season! 👏🏏

A huge well done to our U11s tonight, who came up against a very strong Adel CC side. It was a fantastic game of cricket played in the right spirit, with some brilliant cricket on show from both teams.

A special mention goes to our Players of the Match… the entire U11s team! Every single player has been outstanding and should be incredibly proud of what they’ve achieved this season.

We also couldn’t forget Thea and Jess, who unfortunately missed tonight’s game as they celebrated their prom. We hope you’ve both had an amazing evening! 💃✨

A massive thank you to Josh and Sam for stepping up from the U9s when we needed them. You both did yourselves proud.

As we look back on the season, what a journey it’s been! We’ve seen incredible fielding, towering sixes, a hat-trick, outstanding batting performances, brilliant bowling spells, and, most importantly, fantastic teamwork, determination and sportsmanship throughout.

To all our players, volunteers and fans & parents – thank you for your support all season. You’ve made it one to remember.

🏏 What’s on at Green Lane CC this weekend 🏏

Another great weekend of cricket is in store at Green Lane, and we’d love to see plenty of support around the club! 💚💛

On Saturday 18th July, our 1st XI welcome Old Leos 1st XI for another important league fixture. The bar will be open from 12pm, so come down early, enjoy a drink and cheer on the lads! 🍻

Then on Sunday 19th July, our U9s take on Horsforth CC U9s, with the café open from 8:30am, serving breakfast, hot drinks and refreshments throughout the morning. ☕🍰

Whether you’re supporting the cricket, catching up with friends or just enjoying the atmosphere, there’s something for everyone at Green Lane this weekend.
